2 Thessalonians 1:8-12

불꽃에 싸여 나타나셔서 하나님을 알지 못하는 자들과 우리 주 예수의 복음에 순종하지 않는 자들을 처벌하실 때에 일어날 것입니다. 그들은 주님 앞과 주님의 권능의 영광에서 떨어져 나가서, 영원히 멸망하는 형벌을 받을 것입니다. 그 날에 주님께서 오시면, 자기 성도들에게서 영광을 받으시고, 모든 믿는 사람에게서 찬사를 받으실 것입니다. 여러분은, 우리가 여러분에게 전한 증거를 믿었습니다. 그러므로 우리가 언제나 여러분을 위하여 기도합니다. 그것은 우리 하나님께서 여러분을 그의 부르심에 합당한 사람이 되게 해 주시며 또 그의 능력으로 모든 선한 뜻과 믿음의 행위를 완성해 주시기를 비는 것입니다. 이렇게 해서 우리 하나님과 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜로 우리 주 예수의 이름이 여러분에게서 영광을 받고, 여러분도 그리스도 안에서 영광을 받게 하려는 것입니다. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you. With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
