Book of Acts 19-20 (성경통독)
Acts 19:
Paul in Ephesus (vs.1-22)
The Riot in Ephesus (vs.23-41)
Acts 20:
Through Macedonia and Greece (vs.1-6)
Eutychus Raised From the Dead at Troas (vs.7-12)
Paul’s Farewell to the Ephesian Elders (vs.13-38)
While it is visible that God allowed many disciples to stand up in the name of Christ, not everyone was allowed to preach, heal and cause miracles. (e.g. Seven sons of one Sceva, a Jewish chief priest). This shows us that we should not take the word of God and discipleship too lightly from human perspective.
Acts 20: “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. 23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me." Throughout his life from the moment he received God's grace, Paul was compelled by the Spirit to take action and to go as needed. He did not do anything out of his own selfish desires but always kept his ears and heart open to listen to the Lord.
