Nehemiah 12: And on that day they offered great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. The sound of rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard far away....The origin of our true joy is God and not the secular riches of this world.

Nehemiah 13: "Remember me" for this with favor, my God. In all Nehemiah did, he did it before God. Nehemiah indeed had a humble attitude before the Lord and lived a life to please Him.

Esther 1: What seemed to be a joyous evening as people were in high spirits from wine, ended in fury and anger of King Xerxes.

Esther 2: We can see how God works in peoples' lives. In the case of Esther, God helped Mordecai to uncover a conspiracy which in turn will probably help Mordecai and Esther to receive higher approval and appeal.
