Philemon 21-25
나는 그대의 순종을 확신하며 이 글을 씁니다. 나는 그대가 내가 말한 것 이상으로 해주리라는 것을 압니다.그리고 나를 위하여 숙소를 마련해 주십시오. 여러분의 기도로 내가 여러분에게 갈 수 있기를 바랍니다. 그리스도 예수 안에서 나와 함께 갇힌 에바브라가 그대에게 문안합니다. 나의 동역자인 마가와 아리스다고와 데마와 누가도 문안합니다. 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 여러분의 영과 함께 하기를 빕니다.
As a slaveowner, it's probably hard to take back a run-away slave with our open arms and an embracing heart. But Paul expects Philemon to take accept Onesimus discounting all of his past deeds. Also, we can see how Paul longs to visit Philemon soon and sends along the greetings of other fellow believers. On top of all, Paul always reminds himself and others that it's God's grace that's with our spirits and guides & protects us throughout. This is a quite hopeful message for new year, and I truly pray that the Holy Spirit will be there with me through all tribulations and sufferings, if any.
