Hebrews 10:5-10

그러므로 그리스도께서 세상에 오실 때에, 하나님께 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. "주님은 제사와 예물을 원하지 않으셨습니다. 그래서 나에게 입히실 몸을 마련하셨습니다.주님은 번제와 속죄제를 기뻐하지 않으셨습니다.
그래서 내가 말하였습니다. '보십시오, 하나님! 나를 두고 성경에 기록되어 있는 대로 나는 주님의 뜻을 행하러 왔습니다.'"위에서 그리스도께서 "주님은 제사와 예물과 번제와 속죄제를 원하지도 기뻐하지도 않으셨습니다" 하고 말씀하셨습니다. 이런 것들은 율법을 따라 드리는 것들입니다.그 다음에 말씀하시기를 "보십시오, 나는 주님의 뜻을 행하러 왔습니다" 하셨습니다. 그리스도께서는 두 번째 것을 세우시려고, 첫 번째 것을 폐하셨습니다.이 뜻을 따라 예수 그리스도께서 자기 몸을 단번에 드리심으로써 우리는 거룩하게 되었습니다.

히브리서 10:1-4

율법은 장차 올 좋은 것들의 그림자일 뿐이요, 실체가 아니므로, 해마다 반복해서 드리는 똑같은 희생제사로써는 하나님께로 나오는 사람들을 완전하게 할 수 없습니다. 만일 완전하게 할 수 있었더라면, 제사를 드리는 사람들이 한 번 깨끗하여진 뒤에는, 더 이상 죄의식을 가지지 않을 것이고, 따라서 제사 드리는 일을 중단하지 않았겠습니까? 그러나 제사에는 해마다 죄를 회상시키는 효력은 있습니다; 황소와 염소의 피가 죄를 없애 줄 수는 없습니다; The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming--not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. If it could, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins. But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins, because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

히브리서 9:23-28

For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God's presence. Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own.

히브리서 9:15-22

This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood. When Moses had proclaimed every commandment of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people. He said, "This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep."In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies. In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

Hebrews 9:11-14

He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

Hebrews 9:1-10

A tabernacle was set up. In its first room were the lampstand, the table and the consecrated bread; this was called the Holy Place. Behind the second curtain was a room called the Most Holy Place, which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron's staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant. Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory, overshadowing the atonement cover. But we cannot discuss these things in detail now. When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry. But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance. The Holy Spirit was showing by this that the way into the Most Holy Place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still standing. This is an illustration for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered were not able to clear the conscience of the worshiper. They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings--external regulations applying until the time of the new order.

Hebrews 6:13-20

하나님께서는 아브라함에게 약속하실 때에, 자기보다 더 큰 분이 계시지 아니하므로, 자기를 두고 맹세하시고서, 말씀하시기를 "내가 반드시 너에게 복을 주고 복을 줄 것이며, 너를 번성하게 하고 번성하게 하겠다" 하셨습니다. 그리하여 아브라함은 오래 참은 끝에 그 약속을 받은 것입니다.사람들은 자기보다 더 위대한 이를 두고서 맹세합니다. 그런데 맹세는 그들에게 모든 논쟁을 그치게 하여 주고, 확정을 지어줍니다. 그래서 하나님께서는, 그 약속을 상속받는 사람들에게 하나님의 뜻이 변하지 않는다는 것을 더욱 환히 나타내 보이시려고, 맹세로써 보증하여 주셨습니다. 이는 앞에 놓인 소망을 붙잡으려고 세상에서 피하여 나온 사람들인 우리가, 이 두 가지 변할 수 없는 사실 곧 하나님의 약속과 맹세를 의지하여 큰 위로를 받게 하려는 것입니다. 하나님께서는 약속하시고 맹세하실 때에 거짓말을 하실 수 없습니다. 우리에게는 이 소망이 있으니, 그것은 안전하고 확실한 영혼의 닻과 같아서, 휘장 안에까지 들어가게 해 줍니다. 예수께서는 앞서서 달려가신 분으로서, 우리를 위하여 거기에 들어가셔서, 멜기세덱의 계통을 따라 영원히 대제사장이 되셨습니다; When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, saying, "I will surely bless you and give you many descendants."
And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.Men swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath.
God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 6:9-12

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure.
We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

Hebrews 6:4-8

한번 빛을 받아서 하늘의 은사를 맛보고, 성령을 나누어 받고, 또
하나님의 선한 말씀과 장차 올 세상의 권능을 맛본 사람들이 타락하면, 그들을 새롭게 해서 회개에 이르게 할 수 없습니다. 그런 사람들이야말로 하나님의 아들을 다시금 십자가에 못박고 욕되게 하는 것이기 때문입니다.
땅이 자주 내리는 비를 흡수하여 농사짓는 사람에게 유익한 농작물을 내 주면, 그 땅은 하나님께로부터 복을 받습니다. 그러나 가시덤불과 엉겅퀴를 내면, 그 땅은 쓸모가 없어지고, 저주를 받아서 마침내는 불에 타고 말 것입니다; It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,
who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age,if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, becauseto their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.
Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God.
But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

Hebrews 6:1-3

그러므로 우리는 그리스도교의 초보적 교리를 제쳐놓고서, 성숙한 경지로 나아갑시다. 죽은 행실에서 벗어나는 회개와 하나님에 대한 믿음과 세례에 관한 가르침과 안수와 죽은 사람의 부활과 영원한 심판과 관련해서, 또 다시 기초를 놓는 일이 없어야 하겠습니다. 하나님께서 허락하시면, 우리는 그렇게 할 수 있을 것입니다; Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permitting, we will do so.

히브리서 5:11-14

멜기세덱에 관하여는 할 말이 많이 있지만, 여러분의 귀가 둔해진 까닭에 설명하기 어렵습니다. 시간으로 보면, 여러분은 이미 교사가 되었어야 할 터인데, 다시금 하나님의 말씀의 초보적 원리를 남들에게서 배워야 할 처지에 놓여 있습니다. 여러분은 단단한 음식물이 아니라, 젖을 필요로 하는 사람이 되었습니다. 젖을 먹고서 사는 이는 아직 어린아이이므로, 올바른 가르침에 익숙하지 못합니다. 그러나 단단한 음식물은 장성한 사람들의 것입니다. 그들은 경험으로 선과 악을 분별하는 세련된 지각을 가지고 있는 사람들입니다. We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. (Hebrews 5:11-14)

Hebrews 5:5-10

이와 같이 그리스도께서도 자기 자신을 스스로 높여서 대제사장이 되는 영광을 차지하신 것이 아니라, 그에게 "너는 내 아들이다. 오늘 내가 너를 낳았다" 하고 말씀하신 분이 그렇게 하신 것입니다. 또 다른 곳에서 "너는 멜기세덱의 계통을 따라 임명받은 영원한 제사장이다" 하고 말씀하셨습니다.
예수께서 육신으로 세상에 계실 때에, 자기를 죽음에서 구원하실 수 있는 분께 큰 부르짖음과 많은 눈물로써 기도와 탄원을 올리셨습니다. 하나님께서는 예수의 경외심을 보시어서, 그 간구를 들어주셨습니다.
그는 아드님이시지만, 고난을 당하심으로써 순종을 배우셨습니다.
그리고 완전하게 되신 뒤에, 자기에게 순종하는 모든 사람에게 영원한 구원의 근원이 되시고,
하나님에게서 멜기세덱의 계통을 따라 대제사장으로 임명을 받으셨습니다; So Christ also did not take upon himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father."And he says in another place, "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek."
During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.
Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered
and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him
and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 5:1-4

각 대제사장은 사람들 가운데서 뽑혀서 하나님과 관계되는 일에 임명받습니다. 그리하여 그는 사람들을 위하여 예물과 속죄의 희생 제사를 드립니다. 그는 자기도 연약함에 휘말려 있으므로, 그릇된 길을 가는 무지한 사람들을 너그러이 대하실 수 있습니다. 그는 백성을 위해서 속죄의 제사를 드려야 하는 것과 마찬가지로, 그 연약함 때문에 자기 자신을 위해서도 드려야 하는 것입니다. 누구든지 이 영예는 자기 스스로 얻는 것이 아니라, 아론과 같이 하나님의 부르심을 받아서 얻는 것입니다.Every high priest is selected from among men and is appointed to represent them in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness. This is why he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people. No one takes this honor upon himself; he must be called by God, just as Aaron was.

Hebrews 4:14-16

그러나 우리에게는 하늘에 올라가신 위대한 대제사장이신 하나님의 아들 예수가 계십니다. 그러므로 우리의 신앙 고백을 굳게 지킵시다.
우리의 대제사장은 우리의 연약함을 동정하지 못하시는 분이 아닙니다. 그는 모든 점에서 우리와 마찬가지로 시험을 받으셨지만, 죄는 없으십니다.그러므로 우리는 담대하게 은혜의 보좌로 나아갑시다. 그리하여 우리가 자비를 받고 은혜를 입어서, 제때에 주시는 도움을 받도록 합시다.

Hebrews 4:12-13

그러므로 우리는 이 안식에 들어가기를 힘씁시다. 아무도 그와 같은 불순종의 본을 따르다가 떨어져 나가는 일이 없도록 해야 하겠습니다. 하나님의 말씀은 살아 있고 힘이 있어서, 어떤 양날칼보다도 더 날카롭습니다. 그래서, 사람 속을 꿰뚫어 혼과 영을 갈라내고, 관절과 골수를 갈라놓기까지 하며, 마음에 품은 생각과 의도를 밝혀냅니다;Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Hebrews 4:6-11

그러므로 어떤 사람들에게는 안식에 들어갈 기회가 아직 남아 있습니다. 그런데 기쁜 소식을 먼저 들은 사람들이 순종하지 않았으므로, 들어갈 수 없었습니다. 그렇지만 하나님께서는 다시 '오늘'이라는 어떤 날을 정하시고, 이미 인용한 말씀대로, 오랜 뒤에 다윗을 통하여 "오늘 너희가 그의 음성을 듣거든 너희 마음을 완고하게 하지 말아라" 하고 말씀하셨습니다. 여호수아가 그들에게 안식을 주었더라면, 하나님께서는 그 뒤에 다른 날이 있으리라는 것을 말씀하시지 않았을 것입니다. 그러니 하나님의 백성에게는 안식하는 일이 아직 남아 있습니다. 하나님께서 주실 안식에 들어가는 사람은, 하나님이 자기 일을 마치고 쉬신 것과 같이, 그 사람도 자기 일을 마치고 쉬는 것입니다. 그러므로 우리는 이 안식에 들어가기를 힘씁시다. 아무도 그와 같은 불순종의 본을 따르다가 떨어져 나가는 일이 없도록 해야 하겠습니다; It still remains that some will enter that rest, and those who formerly had the gospel preached to them did not go in, because of their disobedience. Therefore God again set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long time later he spoke through David, as was said before: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts." For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience. (Hebrews 4:6-11)
