Malachi 3:1-5

"내가 나의 특사를 보내겠다. 그가 나의 갈 길을 닦을 것이다. 너희가 오랫동안 기다린 주가, 문득 자기의 궁궐에 이를 것이다. 너희가 오랫동안 기다린, 그 언약의 특사가 이를 것이다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다.
그러나 그가 이르는 날에, 누가 견디어 내며, 그가 나타나는 때에, 누가 살아 남겠느냐? 그는 금과 은을 연단하는 불과 같을 것이며, 표백하는 잿물과 같을 것이다.
그는, 은을 정련하여 깨끗하게 하는 정련공처럼, 자리를 잡고 앉아서 레위 자손을 깨끗하게 할 것이다. 금속 정련공이 은과 금을 정련하듯이, 그가 그들을 깨끗하게 하면, 그 레위 자손이 나 주에게 올바른 제물을 드리게 될 것이다.
유다와 예루살렘의 제물이 옛날처럼, 지난날처럼, 나 주를 기쁘게 할 것이다.
내가 너희를 심판하러 가겠다. 점 치는 자와, 간음하는 자와, 거짓으로 증언하는 자와, 일꾼의 품삯을 떼어먹는 자와, 과부와 고아를 억압하고 나그네를 학대하는 자와, 나를 경외하지 않는 자들의 잘못을 증언하는 증인으로, 기꺼이 나서겠다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다.""See, I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come," says the LORD Almighty.
But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap.
He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the LORD will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness,
and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the LORD, as in days gone by, as in former years.
"So I will come near to you for judgment. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive aliens of justice, but do not fear me," says the LORD Almighty.

Malachi 2:10-17

우리는 모두 한 아버지를 모시고 있지 않느냐? 한 하나님이 우리를 창조하시지 않았느냐? 그런데 어찌하여, 우리가 서로 배신하느냐? 어찌하여 우리는, 주님께서 우리 조상과 맺으신 그 언약을 욕되게 하고 있느냐?유다 백성은 주님을 배신하였다. 예루살렘과 이스라엘 온 땅에서, 추악한 일이 일어나고 있다. 유다 백성은 주님께서 아끼시는 성소를 더럽히고, 남자들은 이방 우상을 섬기는 여자와 결혼까지 하였다.
이런 일을 하는 사람은, 그가 어떤 사람이든지, 만군의 주님께 제사를 드리는 사람이라고 하여도, 주님께서 그를 야곱의 가문에서 쫓아내실 것이다. 너희가 잘못한 일이 또 하나 있다. 주님께서 너희 제물을 외면하시며 그것을 기꺼이 받지 않으신다고, 너희가 눈물과 울음과 탄식으로 주님의 제단을 적셨다.
그러면서 너희는 오히려, '무슨 까닭으로 이러십니까?' 하고 묻는다. 그 까닭은, 네가 젊은 날에 만나서 결혼한 너의 아내를 배신하였기 때문이며, 주님께서 이 일에 증인이시기 때문이다. 그 여자는 너의 동반자이며, 네가 성실하게 살겠다고 언약을 맺고 맞아들인 아내인데도, 네가 아내를 배신하였다.
한 분이신 하나님이 네 아내를 만들지 않으셨느냐? 육체와 영이 둘 다 하나님의 것이다. 한 분이신 하나님이 경건한 자손을 원하시는 것이 아니겠느냐? 너희는 명심하여, 젊어서 결혼한 너희 아내를 배신하지 말아라."나는 이혼하는 것을 미워한다. 주 이스라엘의 하나님이 말한다. 아내를 학대하는 것도 나는 미워한다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다. 그러므로 너희는 명심하여, 아내를 배신하지 말아라."
"너희는 말로 나 주를 괴롭혔다. 그런데도 너희는 '우리가 어떻게 주님을 괴롭게 해 드렸습니까?' 하고 묻는다. 너희는 '주님께서는 악한 일을 하는 사람도 모두 좋게 보신다. 주님께서 오히려 그런 사람들을 더 사랑하신다' 하고 말하고, 또 '공의롭게 재판하시는 하나님이 어디에 계시는가?' 하고 말한다."; Have we not all one Father ? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our fathers by breaking faith with one another?Judah has broken faith. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the LORD loves, by marrying the daughter of a foreign god. As for the man who does this, whoever he may be, may the LORD cut him off from the tents of Jacob --even though he brings offerings to the LORD Almighty. Another thing you do: You flood the LORD's altar with tears. You weep and wail because he no longer pays attention to your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands. You ask, "Why?" It is because the LORD is acting as the witness between you and the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant. Has not the LORD made them one? In flesh and spirit they are his. And why one? Because he was seeking godly offspring. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth."I hate divorce," says the LORD God of Israel, "and I hate a man's covering himself with violence as well as with his garment," says the LORD Almighty. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith. You have wearied the LORD with your words. "How have we wearied him?" you ask. By saying, "All who do evil are good in the eyes of the LORD, and he is pleased with them" or "Where is the God of justice?"

Malachi 2:7-9

But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble; you have violated the covenant with Levi," says the LORD Almighty.
"So I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality in matters of the law."

Malachi 2:1-6

제사장들아, 이제 이것은 너희에게 주는 훈계의 말이다.

If you do not listen, and if you do not set your heart to honor my name," says the LORD Almighty, "I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not set your heart to honor me.
"Because of you I will rebuke your descendants ; I will spread on your faces the offal from your festival sacrifices, and you will be carried off with it.
And you will know that I have sent you this admonition so that my covenant with Levi may continue," says the LORD Almighty.
"My covenant was with him, a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him; this called for reverence and he revered me and stood in awe of my name.

Malachi 1:12-14

그런데 너희는 '주께 차려 올리는 제사 상, 더러우면 어떠냐? 아무 음식이나 차려드렸으면 됐지.' 하면서, 나의 이름을 욕되게 하고 있다. '에이 귀찮아.' 이렇게 투덜거리면서 바치고는 나를 우습게 보지 않는다고 하는구나. 만군의 야훼가 말한다. 너희는 남의 짐승을 훔쳐다가 바치고, 절뚝거리거나 병든 짐승을 바친다. 그러는데 그 제물을 달갑게 받을 것 같으냐? 나의 말이 그르냐? 천벌받을 것들아, 서원제물로 바칠 만한 것이 양떼 가운데 있는데도 주께 바친다면서 쓸모없는 짐승을 골라 제물로 바치는 것들아. 나는 위대한 왕이다. 만군의 야훼가 말한다. 뭇 민족이 나의 이름을 두려워하리라."But you profane it by saying of the Lord's table, 'It is defiled,' and of its food, 'It is contemptible.' And you say, 'What a burden!' and you sniff at it contemptuously," says the LORD Almighty. "When you bring injured, crippled or diseased animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands?" says the LORD. "Cursed is the cheat who has an acceptable male in his flock and vows to give it, but then sacrifices a blemished animal to the Lord. For I am a great king," says the LORD Almighty, "and my name is to be feared among the nations.

Malachi 1:6-11

"아들은 아버지를 공경하고 종은 제 주인을 두려워하는 법인데, 내가 너희 아버지라고 해서 너희가 나를 공경하기라도 하였느냐? 내가 너희 주인이라고 해서 너희가 나를 두려워하기라도 하였느냐? 나 만군의 주가 말한다. 제사장들아, 너희가 바로 내 이름을 멸시하는 자들이다. 그러나 너희는, '우리가 언제 주님의 이름을 멸시하였습니까?' 하고 되묻는다.
너희는 내 제단에 더러운 빵을 바치고 있다. 그러면서도 너희는, '우리가 언제 제단을 더럽혔습니까?' 하고 되묻는다. 너희는 나 주에게 아무렇게나 상을 차려 주어도 된다고 생각한다.
눈먼 짐승을 제물로 바치면서도 괜찮다는 거냐? 절뚝거리거나 병든 짐승을 제물로 바치면서도 괜찮다는 거냐? 그런 것들을 너희 총독에게 바쳐 보아라. 그가 너희를 반가워하겠느냐? 너희를 좋게 보겠느냐? 나, 만군의 주가 말한다.
제사장들아, 이제 너희가 하나님께 '우리에게 은혜를 베풀어 주십시오' 하고 간구하여 보아라. 이것이 너희가 으레 하는 일이지만, 하나님이 너희를 좋게 보시겠느냐?" "나 만군의 주가 말한다.
너희 가운데서라도 누가 성전 문을 닫아 걸어서, 너희들이 내 제단에 헛된 불을 피우지 못하게 하면 좋겠다! 나는 너희들이 싫다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다. 너희가 바치는 제물도 이제 나는 받지 않겠다.해가 뜨는 곳으로부터 해가 지는 곳까지, 내 이름이 이방 민족들 가운데서 높임을 받을 것이다. 곳곳마다, 사람들이 내 이름으로 분향하며, 깨끗한 제물을 바칠 것이다. 내 이름이 이방 민족들 가운데서 높임을 받을 것이기 때문이다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다."A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?" says the LORD Almighty. "It is you, O priests, who show contempt for my name. "But you ask, 'How have we shown contempt for your name?'
"You place defiled food on my altar. "But you ask, 'How have we defiled you?' "By saying that the LORD's table is contemptible.
When you bring blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong? When you sacrifice crippled or diseased animals, is that not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you?" says the LORD Almighty.
"Now implore God to be gracious to us. With such offerings from your hands, will he accept you?"-says the LORD Almighty.
"Oh, that one of you would shut the temple doors, so that you would not light useless fires on my altar! I am not pleased with you," says the LORD Almighty, "and I will accept no offering from your hands.My name will be great among the nations, from the rising to the setting of the sun. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to my name, because my name will be great among the nations," says the LORD Almighty.

Malachi 1:1-5

에서의 자손인 에돔이, '비록 우리가 쓰러졌으나, 황폐된 곳을 다시 세우겠다' 하고 장담하지만, 나 만군의 주가 말한다. 세울 테면 세워 보라고 하여라. 내가 기어이 헐어 버리겠다. '악한 나라, 주에게 영원히 저주받은 백성' 이라고 불릴 것이다.
너희가 이것을 직접 보고, '주님은 이스라엘 나라 밖에서도 높임을 받으신다' 하고 고백할 것이다."An oracle: The word of the LORD to Israel through Malachi.
"I have loved you," says the LORD. "But you ask, 'How have you loved us?' "Was not Esau Jacob's brother?" the LORD says. "Yet I have loved Jacob,
but Esau I have hated, and I have turned his mountains into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the desert jackals."
Edom may say, "Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins." But this is what the LORD Almighty says: "They may build, but I will demolish. They will be called the Wicked Land, a people always under the wrath of the LORD.
You will see it with your own eyes and say, 'Great is the LORD -even beyond the borders of Israel!'

Zechariah 14:16-21

예루살렘을 치러 올라온 모든 민족 가운데서 살아 남은 사람들은, 해마다 예루살렘으로 올라와서 왕이신 만군의 주님께 경배하며, 초막절을 지킬 것이다.
이 세상의 어느 백성이라도, 예루살렘에 올라와서 왕이신 만군의 주님께 경배하지 않으면, 그들의 땅에는 비가 내리지 않을 것이다.
이집트 백성이 예루살렘으로 올라와서 어울리지 않으면, 그들의 땅에도 비가 내리지 않을 것이다. 주님께서는 초막절을 지키러 올라오지 않은 이방 나라들에게 내리실, 그 똑같은 재앙을 그들에게도 내리실 것이다.
이것은 초막절을 지키러 올라오지 않은 이집트 사람과 모든 이방 민족이 받을 벌이다.
그 날이 오면, 말방울에까지 '주님께 거룩하게 바친 것'이라고 새겨져 있을 것이며, 주님의 성전 안에 있는 모든 솥이, 제단 앞에 있는 그릇들과 같이 거룩하게 될 것이다.예루살렘과 유다에 있는 모든 솥도 만군의 주님께 거룩하게 바친 것이 되어, 제사를 드리는 사람들이 와서, 그 솥에 제물 고기를 삶을 것이다. 그 날이 오면, 만군의 주님의 성전 안에 다시는 상인들이 없을 것이다.Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.
If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain.
If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.
This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.
On that dayHOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the LORD's house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar.Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD Almighty.

Zechariah 14:11-15

백성이 다시 예루살렘에 자리 잡을 것이다. 다시는 멸망하는 일이 없을 것이다. 예루살렘은 안전하게 살 수 있는 곳이 될 것이다.
예루살렘을 치러 오는 모든 민족을, 주님께서 다음과 같은 재앙으로 치실 것이다. 그들이 제 발로 서 있는 동안에 살이 썩고, 눈동자가 눈구멍 속에서 썩으며, 혀가 입 안에서 썩을 것이다.
그 날이 오면, 주님께서 보내신 크나큰 공포가 그들을 휩쌀 것이다. 그들은 서로 손을 잡고, 저희들끼리 손을 들어서 칠 것이다.
유다 사람들도 예루살렘을 지키려고, 침략자들과 싸울 것이다. 그들은 주변 모든 이방 나라의 재물 곧 은과 금과 의복을 마구 차지할 것이다.
말과 노새와 낙타와 나귀 할 것 없이, 적진에 있는 모든 짐승에게도, 적군에게 내린 이같은 재앙이 내릴 것이다.
It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.
This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.
On that day men will be stricken by the LORD with great panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other.
Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected--great quantities of gold and silver and clothing.
A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

Zechariah 14:6-10

그 날이 오면, 햇빛도 차가운 달빛도 없어진다.
낮이 따로 없고 밤도 없는 대낮만이 이어진다. 그 때가 언제 올지는 주님께서만 아신다. 저녁때가 되어도, 여전히 대낮처럼 밝을 것이다.
그 날이 오면, 예루살렘에서 생수가 솟아나서, 절반은 동쪽 바다로, 절반은 서쪽 바다로 흐를 것이다. 여름 내내, 겨울 내내, 그렇게 흐를 것이다.
주님께서 온 세상의 왕이 되실 것이다. 그 날이 오면, 사람들은 오직 주님 한 분만을 섬기고, 오직 그분의 이름 하나만으로 간구할 것이다.
게바에서 예루살렘 남쪽 림몬까지, 온 땅이 아라바처럼 평평해질 것이다. 그러나 예루살렘은 우뚝 솟아 있으므로, '베냐민 문'에서부터 '첫 대문'이 서 있는 지점을 지나서 '모퉁이 문'까지, 또 '하나넬 망대'에서 왕실의 포도주 짜는 곳까지, 제자리에 그대로 남을 것이다.On that day there will be no light, no cold or frost.
It will be a unique day, without daytime or nighttime--a day known to the LORD. When evening comes, there will be light.
On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter.
The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name.
The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up and remain in its place, from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses.

Zechariah 14:1-5

주님의 날이 온다. 그 날이 오면, 약탈자들이 너희 재산을 약탈하여다가, 너희가 보는 앞에서 그것을 나누어 가질 것이다.

그 날이 오면, 주님께서 예루살렘 맞은편 동쪽, 올리브 산 위에 발을 디디고 서실 것이다. 그러면 올리브 산은 한가운데가 갈라져서 동서로 뻗은 깊고 넓은 골짜기가 생길 것이다. 산의 반쪽은 북쪽으로 다른 반쪽은 남쪽으로 옮겨질 것이다.
그 산 골짜기는 아셀까지 미칠 것이다. 너희는 유다 왕 웃시야 때에, 지진을 만나 도망간 것 같이, 주님의 산 골짜기로 도망할 것이다. 주 나의 하나님이 오신다. 모든 천군을 거느리시고 너희에게로 오신다.A day of the LORD is coming when your plunder will be divided among you.
I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.
Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle.
On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.
You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

Zechariah 13:7-9

"칼아, 깨어 일어나서, 내 목자를 쳐라. 나와 사이가 가까운 그 사람을 쳐라. 나 만군의 주가 하는 말이다. 목자를 쳐라. 그러면 양 떼가 흩어질 것이다. 나 또한 그 어린 것들을 칠 것이다.
내가 온 땅을 치면, 삼분의 이가 멸망하여 죽고, 삼분의 일만이 살아 남게 될 것이다. 나 주가 하는 말이다.
그 삼분의 일은 내가 불 속에 집어 넣어서 은을 단련하듯이 단련하고, 금을 시험하듯이 시험하겠다. 그들은 내 이름을 부르고, 나는 그들에게 응답할 것이다. 나는 그들을 '내 백성'이라고 부르고, 그들은 나 주를 '우리 하나님'이라고 부를 것이다."Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!" declares the LORD Almighty. "Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones.
In the whole land," declares the LORD, "two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third will be left in it.
This third I will bring into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, 'They are my people,' and they will say, 'The LORD is our God.' "

Acts 16

11 From Troas we put out to sea and sailed straight for Samothrace, and the next day we went on to Neapolis. 12 From there we traveled to Philippi, a Roman colony and the leading city of that district[a] of Macedonia. And we stayed there several days.
13 On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there. 14 One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message. 15 When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.

19 When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities. 20 They brought them before the magistrates and said, “These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar 21 by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice.” 22 The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods. 23 After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. 24 When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.

29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized. 34 The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole household.

Zechariah 13:1-6

"그 날이 오면, 샘 하나가 터져서, 다윗 집안과 예루살렘에 사는 사람들의 죄와 더러움을 씻어 줄 것이다.
그 날이 오면, 내가 이 땅에서 우상의 이름을 지워서, 아무도, 다시는 그 이름을 기억하지 못하도록 하겠다. 나 만군의 주가 하는 말이다. 나는 또 예언자들과 더러운 영을 이 땅에서 없애겠다.
그런데도 누가 예언을 하겠다고 고집하면, 그를 낳은 아버지와 어머니가 그 자식에게 말하기를 '네가 주님의 이름을 팔아서 거짓말을 하였으니, 너는 살지 못한다' 한 다음에, 그를 낳은 아버지와 어머니는, 아들이 예언하는 그 자리에서 그 아들을 찔러 죽일 것이다.
그 날이 오면, 어느 예언자라도, 자기가 예언자 행세를 하거나 계시를 본 것을 자랑하지 못할 것이다. 사람들에게 예언자처럼 보이려고 걸치는, 그 거친 털옷도 걸치지 않을 것이다.
그러고는 기껏 한다는 소리가 '나는 예언자가 아니다. 나는 농부다. 젊어서부터 남의 머슴살이를 해왔다' 할 것이다.어떤 사람이 그에게 '가슴이 온통 상처투성이인데, 어찌 된 일이오?' 하고 물으면, 그는 '친구들의 집에서 입은 상처요' 하고 대답할 것이다.""On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.
"On that day, I will banish the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remembered no more," declares the LORD Almighty. "I will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land.
And if anyone still prophesies, his father and mother, to whom he was born, will say to him, 'You must die, because you have told lies in the LORD's name.' When he prophesies, his own parents will stab him.
"On that day every prophet will be ashamed of his prophetic vision. He will not put on a prophet's garment of hair in order to deceive.
He will say, 'I am not a prophet. I am a farmer; the land has been my livelihood since my youth. 'If someone asks him, 'What are these wounds on your body ?' he will answer, 'The wounds I was given at the house of my friends.'
