Galatians 6:1-6

If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each one should carry his own load.Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor.

Galatians 5:22-26

Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Galatians 5:19-26

I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Galatians 5:13-18

But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

Galatians 5:7-12

Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. "A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough." I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty, whoever he may be.Brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!

Galatians 5:1-6

Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope.For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

Galatians 4:26-31

For it is written: "Be glad, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud, you who have no labor pains; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband." Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. But what does the Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son."Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

Galatians 4:21-25

For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a promise. These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children.

Galatians 4:8-20

You are observing special days and months and seasons and years!I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you. I plead with you, brothers, become like me, for I became like you. You have done me no wrong. As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you. Even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself. What has happened to all your joy? I can testify that, if you could have done so, you would have torn out your eyes and given them to me.Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth? Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may be zealous for them. It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always and not just when I am with you. My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you, how I wish I could be with you now and change my tone, because I am perplexed about you!

Galatians 4:1-7

He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world. But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.

Colossians 4:12-18

Give my greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house.After this letter has been read to you, see that it is also read in the church of the Laodiceans and that you in turn read the letter from Laodicea. Tell Archippus: "See to it that you complete the work you have received in the Lord." I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.

Colossians 4:7-11

Colossians 4:1-6

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Colossians 3:18-25

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.

Colossians 3:12-17

Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Colossians 3:5-11

Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

Colossians 3:1-6

Galatians 3:26-29

26여러분은 모두 그 믿음으로 말미암아 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 자녀들입니다. 27여러분은 모두 세례를 받아 그리스도와 하나가 되고, 그리스도를 옷으로 입은 사람들이기 때문입니다. 28유대 사람도 그리스 사람도 없으며, 종도 자유인도 없으며, 남자와 여자가 없습니다. 여러분 모두가 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나이기 때문입니다. 29여러분이 그리스도께 속한 사람이면, 여러분은 아브라함의 후손이요, 약속을 따라 정해진 상속자들입니다.26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Galatians 3:21-25

21 Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! Galatians 3:15-20

15 형제자매 여러분, 나는 사람의 관례를 예로 들어서 말하겠습니다. 어떤 사람이 적법하게 유언을 작성해 놓으면, 아무도 그것을 무효로 하거나, 거기에다가 어떤 것을 덧붙일 수 없습니다. 16그런데 하나님께서 아브라함과 그 후손에게 약속을 말씀하실 때에, 마치 여러 사람을 가리키는 것처럼 ‘후손들에게’라고 말씀하시지 않고 단 한 사람을 가리키는 뜻으로 ‘너의 후손에게’라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그 한 사람은 곧 그리스도이십니다. 17내가 말하려는 것은 이것입니다. 하나님께서 이미 맺으신 언약을, 사백삼십 년 뒤에 생긴 율법이 이를 무효로 하여 그 약속을 폐하지 못합니다. 18그 유업이 율법에서 난 것이면, 그것은 절대로 약속에서 난 것이 아닙니다. 그러나 하나님께서는 약속을 통하여 아브라함에게 유업을 거저 주셨습니다.19그러면 율법의 용도는 무엇입니까? 율법은 약속을 받으신 그 후손이 오실 때까지 범죄들 때문에 덧붙여 주신 것입니다. 그것은 천사들을 통하여, 한 중개자의 손으로 제정되었습니다. 20그런데 그 중개자는 한쪽에만 속한 것이 아닙니다. 그러나 하나님은 한 분이십니다.15 Brothers and sisters, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case. 16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,”[i] meaning one person, who is Christ. 17 What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. 18 For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise. 19 Why, then, was the law given at all? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator. 20 A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one.

Galatians 3:7-14

7그러므로 믿음에서 난 사람들이야말로 아브라함의 자손임을 여러분은 아십시오. 8또 하나님께서 이방 사람을 믿음에 근거하여 의롭다고 여겨 주신다는 것을 성경은 미리 알고서, 아브라함에게 “모든 민족이 너로 말미암아 복을 받을 것이다” 하는 기쁜 소식을 미리 전하였습니다. 9그러므로 믿음에서 난 사람들은 믿음을 가진 아브라함과 함께 복을 받습니다. 10율법의 행위에 근거하여 살려고 하는 사람은 누구나 다 저주 아래에 있습니다. 기록된 바 “율법책에 기록된 모든 것을 계속하여 행하지 않는 사람은 다 저주 아래에 있다” 하였습니다. 11하나님 앞에서는, 율법으로는 아무도 의롭게 되지 못한다는 것이 명백합니다. “의인은 믿음으로 살 것이다” 하였기 때문입니다. 12그러나 율법은 믿음에서 생긴 것이 아닙니다. 오히려 “율법의 일을 행하는 사람은 그 일로 살 것이다” 하였습니다. 13그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 저주를 받은 사람이 되심으로써, 우리를 율법의 저주에서 속량해 주셨습니다. 기록된 바 “나무에 달린 자는 모두 저주를 받은 자이다” 하였기 때문입니다. 14그것은, 아브라함에게 내리신 복을 그리스도 예수 안에서 이방 사람에게 미치게 하시고, 우리로 하여금 믿음으로 말미암아 약속하신 성령을 받게 하시려는 것입니다.7 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. 8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”[d] 9 So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. 10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”[e] 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”[f] 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”[g] 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”[h] 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
