Luke 22:63-71

예수를 지키는 사람들이 예수를 때리면서 모욕하였다. 또 그들은 예수의 눈을 가리고 말하였다. "너를 때린 사람이 누구인지 알아맞추어 보아라." 그들은 그 밖에도 온갖 말로 모욕하면서 예수에게 욕설을 퍼부었다.날이 밝으니, 백성의 장로회, 곧 대제사장들과 율법학자들이 모여서, 예수를 그들의 공의회로 끌고 가서, 이렇게 말하였다. "그대가 그리스도이면, 그렇다고 우리에게 말해 주시오." 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 그렇다고 여러분에게 말하더라도, 여러분은 믿지 않을 것이요, 내가 물어보아도, 여러분은 대답하지 않을 것이오. 그러나 이제부터 인자는 전능하신 하나님의 오른쪽에 앉게 될 것이오." 그러자 모두가 말하였다. "그러면 그대가 하나님의 아들이오?" 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 그라고 여러분이 말하고 있소."그러자 그들은 말하였다. "이제 우리에게 무슨 증언이 더 필요하겠소? 우리가 그의 입에서 나오는 말을 직접 들었으니 말이오."The men who were guarding Jesus began mocking and beating him. They blindfolded him and demanded, "Prophesy! Who hit you?" And they said many other insulting things to him.At daybreak the council of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and teachers of the law, met together, and Jesus was led before them. "If you are the Christ," they said, "tell us." Jesus answered, "If I tell you, you will not believe me, and if I asked you, you would not answer. But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God." They all asked, "Are you then the Son of God?" He replied, "You are right in saying I am."Then they said, "Why do we need any more testimony? We have heard it from his own lips."

Luke 22:54-62

Peter followed at a distance. But when they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter sat down with them.A servant girl saw him seated there in the firelight. She looked closely at him and said, "This man was with him." But he denied it. "Woman, I don't know him," he said. A little later someone else saw him and said, "You also are one of them." "Man, I am not!" Peter replied. About an hour later another asserted, "Certainly this fellow was with him, for he is a Galilean." Peter replied, "Man, I don't know what you're talking about!" Just as he was speaking, the rooster crowed.The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: "Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times." And he went outside and wept bitterly.

Luke 22:47-53

예수께서 아직 말씀하시고 계실 때에, 한 무리가 나타났다. 열둘 가운데 하나인 유다라는 사람이 그들의 앞장을 서서 왔다. 그는 예수께 입을 맞추려고 가까이 왔다. 예수께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. "유다야, 너는 입맞춤으로 인자를 넘겨주려고 하느냐?" 예수의 둘레에 있는 사람들이 사태를 보고서 말하였다. He approached Jesus to kiss him, but Jesus asked him, "Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?" When Jesus' followers saw what was going to happen, they said, "Lord, should we strike with our swords?" And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.But Jesus answered, "No more of this!" And he touched the man's ear and healed him. Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, "Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs? Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour--when darkness reigns."

Luke 22:39-46

"왜들 자고 있느냐? 시험에 빠지지 않도록, 일어나서 기도하여라."Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him. On reaching the place, he said to them, "Pray that you will not fall into temptation."He withdrew about a stone's throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done." An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, he found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow."Why are you sleeping?" he asked them. "Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation."

Luke 22:31-38

"Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers." But he replied, "Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death." Jesus answered, "I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me." Then Jesus asked them, "When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?" "Nothing," they answered.He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. It is written: 'And he was numbered with the transgressors'; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment." The disciples said, "See, Lord, here are two swords." "That is enough," he replied."시몬아, 시몬아, 보아라. 사탄이 밀처럼 너희를 체질하려고 너희를 손아귀에 넣기를 요구하였다. 그러나 나는 네 믿음이 꺾이지 않도록, 너를 위하여 기도하였다. 네가 다시 돌아올 때에는, 네 형제를 굳세게 하여라." 베드로가 예수께 말하였다. Luke 22:24-30

제자들 가운데서 누구를 가장 큰 사람으로 칠 것이냐는 물음을 놓고, 그들 사이에 말다툼이 벌어졌다. 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "뭇 민족들의 왕들은 백성들 위에 군림한다. 그리고 백성들에게 권세를 부리는 자들은 은인으로 행세한다.그러나 너희는 그렇지 않다. 너희 가운데서 가장 큰 사람은 가장 어린 사람과 같이 되어야 하고, 또 다스리는 사람은 섬기는 사람과 같이 되어야 한다. 누가 더 높으냐? 밥상에 앉은 사람이냐, 시중드는 사람이냐? 밥상에 앉은 사람이 아니냐? 그러나 나는 섬기는 사람으로 너희 가운데 있다. 너희는 내가 시련을 겪는 동안에 나와 함께 한 사람들이다. 내 아버지께서 내게 왕권을 주신 것과 같이, 나도 너희에게 왕권을 준다. 그리하여 너희가 내 나라에 들어와 내 밥상에서 먹고 마시게 하고, 옥좌에 앉아서 이스라엘의 열두 지파를 심판하게 하겠다."Also a dispute arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest. Jesus said to them, "The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors.But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves. For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves. You are those who have stood by me in my trials. And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Luke 22:14-23

시간이 되어서, 예수께서 자리에 앉으시니, 사도들도 그와 함께 앉았다. 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. And he said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God." After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, "Take this and divide it among you. For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes." And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.But the hand of him who is going to betray me is with mine on the table. The Son of Man will go as it has been decreed, but woe to that man who betrays him." They began to question among themselves which of them it might be who would do this.

Luke 22:7-13

유월절 양을 잡아야 하는 무교절 날이 왔다. 예수께서 베드로와 요한을 보내시며 말씀하셨다. "가서, 우리가 먹을 수 있게 유월절을 준비하여라." 그들이 예수께 말하였다. "어디에다 준비하기를 바라십니까?" 예수께서 대답하셨다. "너희가 성 안으로 들어가면, 물 한 동이를 메고 오는 사람을 만날 것이니, 그가 들어가는 집으로 따라가거라.그리고 그 집주인에게 말하기를 '선생님께서 당신에게 말씀하시기를, 내가 내 제자들과 함께 유월절 음식을 먹을 그 방이 어디에 있느냐고 하십니다' 하여라. 그러면 그 사람은 자리를 깔아 놓은 큰 다락방을 너희에게 보여 줄 것이니, 너희는 거기에다 준비를 하여라." 그들이 가서 보니, 예수께서 말씀하신 그대로였다. 그리하여 그들은 유월절을 준비하였다.Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover." "Where do you want us to prepare for it?" they asked. He replied, "As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters,and say to the owner of the house, 'The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?' He will show you a large upper room, all furnished. Make preparations there." They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover.

Luke 22:1-6

유월절이라고 하는 무교절이 다가왔다. 그런데 대제사장들과 율법학자들은 예수를 없애버릴 방책을 찾고 있었다. 그들은 백성을 두려워하였다. 열둘 가운데 하나인 가룟이라는 유다에게 사탄이 들어갔다. 유다는 떠나가서 대제사장들과 성전 경비대장들과 더불어 어떻게 예수를 그들에게 넘겨줄지를 의논하였다. 그래서 그들은 기뻐하여, 그에게 돈을 주겠다고 약조하였다.유다는 동의하고, 무리가 없을 때에 예수를 그들에게 넘겨주려고, 기회를 노리고 있었다.Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching, and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. They were delighted and agreed to give him money.He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.

Luke 21:34-38

"너희는 스스로 조심해서, 방탕과 술취함과 세상살이의 걱정으로 너희의 마음이 짓눌리지 않게 하고, 또한 그 날이 덫과 같이 너희에게 닥치지 않게 하여라. 그 날은 온 땅에 사는 모든 사람에게 닥칠 것이다.그러니 너희는 앞으로 일어날 이 모든 일을 능히 피하고, 또 인자 앞에 설 수 있도록, 기도하면서 늘 깨어 있어라." 예수께서는, 낮에는 성전에서 가르치시고, 밤에는 나와서 올리브 산이라고 하는 산에서 지내셨다. 그런데 모든 백성이 그의 말씀을 들으려고, 이른 아침부터 성전으로 모여들었다."Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth.Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man." Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple, and each evening he went out to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives, and all the people came early in the morning to hear him at the temple.

Luke 21:25-33

"그리고 해와 달과 별들에서 징조들이 나타나고, 땅에서는 민족들이 바다와 파도의 성난 소리 때문에 어쩔 줄을 몰라서 괴로워할 것이다.사람들은 세상에 닥쳐올 일들을 예상하고, 무서워서 기절할 것이다. 하늘의 세력들이 흔들릴 것이기 때문이다. 그 때에 사람들은 인자가 큰 권능과 영광을 띠고 구름을 타고 오는 것을 볼 것이다. 이런 일들이 일어나기 시작하거든, 일어서서 너희의 머리를 들어라. 너희의 구원이 가까워지고 있기 때문이다." 예수께서 그들에게 비유를 하나 말씀하셨다. "무화과나무와 모든 나무를 보아라. 잎이 돋으면, 너희는 스스로 보고서, 여름이 벌써 가까이 온 줄을 안다.이와 같이 너희도 이런 일들이 일어나는 것을 보거든, 하나님의 나라가 가까이 온 줄로 알아라. 내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 이 세대가 끝나기 전에, 이 모든 일이 다 일어날 것이다. 하늘과 땅은 없어질지라도, 내 말은 절대로 없어지지 않을 것이다.""There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." He told them this parable: "Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. "I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Luke 21:16-24

너희의 부모와 형제와 친척과 친구들까지도 너희를 넘겨줄 것이요, 너희 가운데서 더러는 죽일 것이다. 너희는 내 이름 때문에, 모든 사람에게 미움을 받을 것이다. 그러나 너희는 머리카락 하나도 잃지 않을 것이다. 너희는 참고 견디는 가운데 너희의 목숨을 얻어라." "예루살렘이 군대에게 포위 당하는 것을 보거든, 그 도성의 파멸이 가까이 온 줄 알아라.그 때에 유대에 있는 사람들은 산으로 도망하고, 그 도성 안에 있는 사람들은 거기에서 빠져나가고, 산골에 있는 사람들은 그 성 안으로 들어가지 말아라. 그 때가 기록된 모든 말씀이 이루어질 징벌의 날들이기 때문이다. 그 날에는, 아이 밴 여자들과 젖먹이가 딸린 여자들은 화가 있다. 땅에는 큰 재난이 닥치겠고, 이 백성에게는 무서운 진노가 내릴 것이다. 그들은 칼날에 쓰러지고, 뭇 이방 나라에 포로로 잡혀갈 것이요, 예루살렘은 이방 사람들의 때가 차기까지, 이방 사람들에게 짓밟힐 것이다."You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. All men will hate you because of me. But not a hair of your head will perish. By standing firm you will gain life. "When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Luke 21:5-15

"너희는 속지 않도록 조심하여라. 많은 사람이 내 이름으로 와서 말하기를 '내가 그리스도다' 하거나, '때가 가까이 왔다' 할 것이다. 그러나 그들을 따라가지 말아라. 전쟁과 난리의 소문을 듣더라도 두려워하지 말아라. 이런 일이 반드시 먼저 일어나야 한다. 그러나 종말이 곧 오는 것은 아니다." 그 때에 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "민족이 일어나 민족을 치고, 나라가 일어나 나라를 칠 것이다 큰 지진이 나고, 곳곳에 기근과 역병이 생기고, 하늘로부터 무서운 일과 큰 징조가 나타날 것이다. 그러나 이 모든 일이 일어나기에 앞서, 사람들이 너희에게 손을 대어 박해하고, 너희를 회당과 감옥에 넘겨줄 것이다. 너희는 내 이름 때문에 왕들과 총독들 앞에 끌려갈 것이다. 그러나 이것이, 너희에게는 증언할 기회가 될 것이다. 그러므로 너희는 변호할 말을 미리부터 생각하지 않도록 명심하여라. 나는 너희의 모든 적대자들이 맞서거나 반박할 수 없는 구변과 지혜를 너희에게 주겠다.Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said,"As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down." "Teacher," they asked, "when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?" He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not follow them. When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away." Then he said to them: "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. "But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. This will result in your being witnesses to them. But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

Luke 21:1-4

예수께서 눈을 들어 부자들이 헌금궤에 헌금 넣는 것을 보시고, 또 어떤 가난한 과부가 거기에 렙돈 두 닢을 넣는 것을 보셨다. 그래서 예수께서는 말씀하셨다. "내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 이 가난한 과부가 누구보다도 더 많이 넣었다. 저 사람들은 다 넉넉한 가운데서 자기들의 헌금을 넣었지만, 이 과부는 구차한 가운데서 가지고 있는 생활비 전부를 털어 넣었다."As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. "I tell you the truth," he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on."

Luke 20:41-47

예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "어떻게 사람들이 그리스도를 다윗의 자손이라고 하느냐? 다윗이 친히 시편에서 말하기를 '주님께서 내 주께 말씀하셨다. 「내가 네 원수들을 네 발 아래에 굴복시킬 때까지, 너는 내 오른쪽에 앉아 있어라」' 하였다. 다윗이 그리스도를 주라고 불렀는데, 어떻게 그가 다윗의 자손이 되겠느냐?" 모든 백성이 듣고 있는 가운데, 예수께서는 자기 제자들에게 말씀하셨다."율법학자들을 조심하여라. 그들은 예복을 입고 다니기를 원하고, 장터에서 인사 받는 것과 회당에서 높은 자리와 잔치에서 윗자리를 좋아한다. 그들은 과부들의 가산을 삼키고, 남에게 보이려고 길게 기도한다. 그들은 더 엄한 심판을 받을 것이다."Then Jesus said to them, "How is it that they say the Christis the Son of David? David himself declares in the Book of Psalms: " 'The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." ' David calls him 'Lord.' How then can he be his son?" While all the people were listening, Jesus said to his disciples,"Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. They devour widows' houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. Such men will be punished most severely."

Luke 20:27-40

부활이 없다고 주장하는 사두개파 사람 가운데 몇 사람이 다가와서, 예수께 물었다. "선생님, 모세가 우리에게 써 주기를 '어떤 사람의 형이 자식이 없이 아내를 남겨 두고 죽으면, 그 동생이 그 형수를 맞아들여서 뒤를 이을 아들을 자기 형에게 세워주어야 한다' 하였습니다. 그런데 일곱 형제가 있었습니다. 맏이가 아내를 얻어서 살다가 자식이 없이 죽었습니다. 그래서 둘째가 그 여자를 맞아들였고,그 다음에 셋째가 그 여자를 맞아들였습니다. 일곱 형제가 다 그렇게 하였는데, 모두 자식을 남기지 못하고 죽었습니다. 나중에 그 여자도 죽었습니다. 그러니 부활 때에 그 여자는 그들 가운데서 누구의 아내가 되겠습니까? 일곱이 다 그 여자를 아내로 맞아들였으니 말입니다." 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "이 세상 사람들은 장가도 가고, 시집도 가지만, 저 세상과 죽은 사람들 가운데서 살아나는 부활에 참여할 자격을 얻은 사람은 장가도 가지 않고 시집도 가지 않는다.그들은 천사와 같아서, 더 이상 죽지도 않는다. 그들은 부활의 자녀들이므로, 하나님의 자녀들이다. 죽은 사람들이 살아난다는 사실은 모세도 가시나무 떨기 이야기가 나오는 대목에서 보여 주었는데, 거기서 그는 주님을 '아브라함의 하나님, 이삭의 하나님, 야곱의 하나님'이라고 부르고 있다. 하나님은 죽은 사람들의 하나님이 아니라, 살아 있는 사람들의 하나님이시다. 모든 사람은 하나님과의 관계 속에서 살고 있다." 이 말씀을 듣고서, 율법학자 가운데 몇 사람이 말하였다. "선생님, 옳은 말씀입니다." 그들은 감히 예수께 더 이상 질문을 하지 못하였다.Some of the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Jesus with a question. "Teacher," they said, "Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow and have children for his brother. Now there were seven brothers. The first one married a woman and died childless. The secondand then the third married her, and in the same way the seven died, leaving no children. Finally, the woman died too. Now then, at the resurrection whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?" Jesus replied, "The people of this age marry and are given in marriage. But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage,and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God's children, since they are children of the resurrection. But in the account of the bush, even Moses showed that the dead rise, for he calls the Lord 'the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive." Some of the teachers of the law responded, "Well said, teacher!" And no one dared to ask him any more questions.

Luke 20:20-26

"그러면 황제의 것은 황제에게 돌려주고, 하나님의 것은 하나님께 돌려드려라."그들은 백성 앞에서 예수의 말씀을 책잡지 못하고, 그의 답변에 놀라서 입을 다물었다.Keeping a close watch on him, they sent spies, who pretended to be honest. They hoped to catch Jesus in something he said so that they might hand him over to the power and authority of the governor.So the spies questioned him: "Teacher, we know that you speak and teach what is right, and that you do not show partiality but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it right for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?" He saw through their duplicity and said to them, "Show me a denarius. Whose portrait and inscription are on it?" "Caesar's," they replied. He said to them, "Then give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's."They were unable to trap him in what he had said there in public. And astonished by his answer, they became silent.

Luke 20:9-19

예수께서 백성에게 이 비유를 말씀하셨다. "어떤 사람이 포도원을 만들어서, 농부들에게 세로 주고, 오랫동안 멀리 떠나 있었다. 포도를 거둘 때가 되어서, 포도원 주인은 포도원 소출 가운데서 얼마를 소작료로 받아 오게 하려고, 종 하나를 농부들에게 보냈다. 그런데 농부들은 그 종을 때리고, 빈손으로 돌려보냈다.주인은 다른 종을 보냈다. 그랬더니 그들은 그 종도 때리고, 모욕하고, 빈손으로 돌려보냈다. 그래서 주인이 다시 세 번째 종을 보냈더니, 그들은 이 종에게도 상처를 입혀서 내쫓았다. 그래서 포도원 주인은 말하였다. '어떻게 할까? 내 사랑하는 아들을 보내야겠다. 설마 그들이 내 아들이야 존중하겠지!' 그러나 농부들은 그를 보고서, 서로 의논하며 말하였다. '이 사람은 상속자다. 그를 죽여 버리자. 그래서 유산이 우리 차지가 되게 하자.' 그리하여 그들은 주인의 아들을 포도원 바깥으로 내쫓아서 죽였다. 그러니 포도원 주인이 그들을 어떻게 하겠느냐?주인은 와서 그들을 죽이고, 포도원을 다른 사람들에게 줄 것이다." 사람들이 이 말씀을 듣고서 말하였다. "그런 일이 없기를 바랍니다." 그 때에 예수께서 그들을 똑바로 바라보시고 말씀하셨다. "그러면, '집 짓는 사람들이 버린 돌이 집 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었다' 하고 기록된 말은 무슨 뜻이냐? 누구든지 그 돌 위에 떨어지면, 그는 부스러질 것이요, 그 돌이 어느 사람 위에 떨어지면 그를 가루로 만들 것이다." 율법학자들과 대제사장들은 예수가 자기네들을 겨냥하여 이 비유를 말씀하신 줄 알았다. 그래서 그들은 바로 그 때에 예수께 손을 대어 잡으려고 하였으나, 백성을 두려워하였다.He went on to tell the people this parable: "A man planted a vineyard, rented it to some farmers and went away for a long time. At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants so they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed.He sent another servant, but that one also they beat and treated shamefully and sent away empty-handed. He sent still a third, and they wounded him and threw him out. "Then the owner of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? I will send my son, whom I love; perhaps they will respect him.' "But when the tenants saw him, they talked the matter over. 'This is the heir,' they said. 'Let's kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.' So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. "What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them?He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others." When the people heard this, they said, "May this never be!" Jesus looked directly at them and asked, "Then what is the meaning of that which is written: " 'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone'? Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed." The teachers of the law and the chief priests looked for a way to arrest him immediately, because they knew he had spoken this parable against them. But they were afraid of the people.
