Zechariah 7:1-7

다리우스 왕 사년 아홉째 달, 곧 기슬래월 나흗날에, 주님께서 스가랴에게 말씀하셨다.
베델 사람이 사레셀과 레겜멜렉에게 하인들을 딸려 보내어, 주님께 은혜를 간구하면서,
만군의 주님의 성전에 속한 제사장들과 예언자들에게 물어 왔다. "우리가 지난 여러 해 동안에 해 온 그대로, 다섯째 달에 애곡하면서 금식해야 합니까?"
이 때에 만군의 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.
"너는 이 땅의 온 백성과 제사장에게 이렇게 말하여라. '너희가 지난 칠십 년 동안, 다섯째 달과 일곱째 달에 금식하며 애곡하기는 하였으나, 너희가 진정, 나를 생각하여서 금식한 적이 있느냐?너희가 먹고 마실 때에도 너희 스스로 만족하려고 먹고 마신 것이 아니냐?'"
그 때에 예루살렘과 그 주위의 여러 성읍에는, 거주하는 사람의 수가 불어나고, 사람들이 마음을 놓고 살았다. 남쪽 네겝과 스불라 평원에도 사람의 수가 불어났다. 바로 이 무렵에 주님께서 이전 예언자들을 시키셔서 이 말씀을 선포하셨다.In the fourth year of King Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, the month of Kislev.
The people of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regem-Melech, together with their men, to entreat the LORD
by asking the priests of the house of the LORD Almighty and the prophets, "Should I mourn and fast in the fifth month, as I have done for so many years?"
Then the word of the LORD Almighty came to me:
"Ask all the people of the land and the priests, 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months for the past seventy years, was it really for me that you fasted?And when you were eating and drinking, were you not just feasting for yourselves?
Are these not the words the LORD proclaimed through the earlier prophets when Jerusalem and its surrounding towns were at rest and prosperous, and the Negev and the western foothills were settled?' "

Zechariah 6:9-15

주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.
"너는 사로잡혀 간 사람들, 곧 헬대와 도비야와 여다야에게서 예물을 받아라. 그들이 바빌론에서 와서, 지금 스바냐의 아들 요시야의 집에 와 있으니, 너는 오늘 그리로 가거라.너는 은과 금을 받아서, 그것으로 왕관을 만들고, 그것을 여호사닥의 아들 여호수아 대제사장의 머리에 씌워라.
너는 그에게 이렇게 말하여라. '나 만군의 주가 이렇게 말한다. 이 사람을 보아라. 그의 이름은 '새싹'이다. 그가 제자리에서 새싹처럼 돋아나서, 주의 성전을 지을 것이다.
그가 주의 성전을 지을 것이며, 위엄을 갖추고, 왕좌에 앉아서 다스릴 것이다. 한 제사장이 그 왕좌 곁에 설 것이며, 이 두 사람이 평화롭게 조화를 이루며, 함께 일할 것이다.'

먼 곳에 사는 사람들이 와서, 주님의 성전 짓는 일을 도울 것이다. 그 때에야 너희가, 만군의 주님께서 나를 너희에게 보내셨다는 것을 알게 될 것이다. 너희가 주 너희 하나님께 진심으로 순종하면, 이 일이 이루어질 것이다.The word of the LORD came to me:
"Take silver and gold from the exiles Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah, who have arrived from Babylon. Go the same day to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah.Take the silver and gold and make a crown, and set it on the head of the high priest, Joshua son of Jehozadak.
Tell him this is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Here is the man whose name is the Branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of the LORD.
It is he who will build the temple of the LORD, and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he will be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two.'
The crown will be given to Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah and Hen son of Zephaniah as a memorial in the temple of the LORD.
Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the LORD, and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the LORD your God."

Zechariah 6:1-8

내가 또 고개를 들고 바라보니, 내 앞에 두 산 사이에서 병거 네 대가 나왔다. 두 산은 놋쇠로 된 산이다.
첫째 병거는 붉은 말들이 끌고 있고, 둘째 병거는 검은 말들이,
셋째 병거는 흰 말들이, 넷째 병거는 얼룩말들이 끌고 있었다. 말들은 모두 건장하였다.
내가 내게 말하는 천사에게, 그것이 무엇들이냐고 물었다.
그 천사가 나에게 대답하였다. "그것들은 하늘의 네 영이다. 온 세상을 다스리시는 주님을 뵙고서, 지금 떠나는 길이다.검은 말들이 끄는 병거는 북쪽 땅으로 떠나고, 흰 말들이 끄는 병거는 서쪽으로 떠나고, 얼룩말들이 끄는 병거는 남쪽 땅으로 떠난다."
그 건장한 말들이 나가서 땅을 두루 돌아다니고자 하니, 그 천사가 말하였다. "떠나거라. 땅을 두루 돌아다녀라." 병거들은 땅을 두루 돌아다녔다.
천사가 나를 보고, 소리를 치면서 말하였다. "북쪽 땅으로 나간 말들이 북쪽 땅에서 내 마음을 시원하게 하였다."I looked up again--and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains--mountains of bronze!
The first chariot had red horses, the second black,
the third white, and the fourth dappled--all of them powerful.
I asked the angel who was speaking to me, "What are these, my lord?"
The angel answered me, "These are the four spirits of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world.The one with the black horses is going toward the north country, the one with the white horses toward the west, and the one with the dappled horses toward the south."
When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said, "Go throughout the earth!" So they went throughout the earth.
Then he called to me, "Look, those going toward the north country have given my Spirit rest in the land of the north."

Zechariah 5:5-11

"바빌로니아 땅으로 간다. 거기에다가 그 뒤주를 둘 신전을 지을 것이다. 신전이 완성되면, 그 뒤주는 제자리에 놓일 것이다."Then the angel who was speaking to me came forward and said to me, "Look up and see what this is that is appearing."I asked, "What is it?" He replied, "It is a measuring basket. " And he added, "This is the iniquity of the people throughout the land."
Then the cover of lead was raised, and there in the basket sat a woman!
He said, "This is wickedness," and he pushed her back into the basket and pushed the lead cover down over its mouth. Then I looked up--and there before me were two women, with the wind in their wings! They had wings like those of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between heaven and earth. "Where are they taking the basket?" I asked the angel who was speaking to me.He replied, "To the country of Babylonia to build a house for it. When it is ready, the basket will be set there in its place."

Zechariah 5:1-4

내가 또 고개를 들고 보니, 내 앞에서 두루마리가 날아가고 있었다. 그 천사는 내가 무엇을 보고 있느냐고 물었다. 내가 대답하였다. "두루마리가 날아가는 것을 보고 있습니다. 길이는 스무 자이고, 너비는 열 자입니다." 그는 나에게 이렇게 말하였다. He asked me, "What do you see?" I answered, "I see a flying scroll, thirty feet long and fifteen feet wide. " And he said to me, "This is the curse that is going out over the whole land; for according to what it says on one side, every thief will be banished, and according to what it says on the other, everyone who swears falsely will be banished. The LORD Almighty declares, 'I will send it out, and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of him who swears falsely by my name. It will remain in his house and destroy it, both its timbers and its stones.' "

Zechariah 4:7-14

큰 산아, 네가 무엇이냐? 스룹바벨 앞에서는 평지일 뿐이다. 그가 머릿돌을 떠서 내올 때에, 사람들은 그 돌을 보고서 '아름답다, 아름답다!' 하고 외칠 것이다." 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.

"The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you.
"Who despises the day of small things? Men will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. "(These seven are the eyes of the LORD, which range throughout the earth.)"Then I asked the angel, "What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?" Again I asked him, "What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?"
He replied, "Do you not know what these are?" "No, my lord," I said.
So he said, "These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth."

Zechariah 4:1-6

내게 말하는 천사가 다시 와서 나를 깨우는데, 나는 마치 잠에서 깨어난 사람 같았다.

He asked me, "What do you see?" I answered, "I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top and seven lights on it, with seven channels to the lights.
Also there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left." I asked the angel who talked with me, "What are these, my lord?"
He answered, "Do you not know what these are?" "No, my lord," I replied.So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.

Acts 13: 제자들의 확신과 흔들리지 않음

그래서 바울이라고도 하는 사울이 성령으로 충만하여 마술사를 노려보고 말하였다. "너, 속임수와 악행으로 가득 찬 악마의 자식아, 모든 정의의 원수야, 너는 주님의 바른 길을 굽게 하는 짓을 그치지 못하겠느냐?보아라, 이제 주님의 손이 너를 내리칠 것이니, 눈이 멀어서 얼마 동안 햇빛을 보지 못할 것이다." 그러자 곧 안개와 어둠이 그를 내리덮어서, 그는 앞을 더듬으면서, 손을 잡아 자기를 이끌어 줄 사람을 찾았다. 총독은 그 일어난 일을 보고 주님을 믿게 되었고, 주님의 교훈에 깊은 감명을 받았다.Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said, "You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind, and for a time you will be unable to see the light of the sun." Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand. When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord.

그러므로 동포 여러분, 바로 이 예수로 말미암아 여러분에게 죄 용서가 선포된다는 것을 알아야 합니다.
여러분이 모세의 율법으로는 의롭게 될 수 없던 그 모든 일에서 풀려납니다. 믿는 사람은 누구나 다 예수 안에서 의롭게 됩니다. 그러므로 예언서에서 말한 일이 여러분에게 일어나지 않도록 조심하십시오. 이렇게 말하였습니다."Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses.
Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you:

Zechariah 3:1-10

주님께서 나에게 보여 주시는데, 내가 보니, 여호수아 대제사장이 주님의 천사 앞에 서 있고, 그의 오른쪽에는 그를 고소하는 사탄이 서 있었다.주님께서 사탄에게 말씀하셨다. "사탄아, 나 주가 너를 책망한다. 예루살렘을 사랑하여 선택한 나 주가 너를 책망한다. 이 사람은 불에서 꺼낸 타다 남은 나무토막이다."

'네가 내 도를 준행하며 내 율례를 지키면 네가 내 집을 다스릴 것이요 내 뜰을 지킬 것이며 여기에서 섬기는 사람들 사이를 자유로이 출입하게 할 것이다. 여호수아 대제사장은 들어라. 여기 여호수아 앞에 앉아 있는 여호수아의 동료들도 함께 잘 들어라. 너희는 모두 앞으로 나타날 일의 표가 되는 사람들이다. 내가 이제 새싹이라고 부르는 나의 종을 보내겠다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다. 내가 여호수아 앞에 돌 한 개를 놓는다. 그것은 일곱 눈을 가진 돌이다. 나는 그 돌에 내가 이 땅의 죄를 하루 만에 없애겠다는 글을 새긴다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다. 그 날이 오면, 너희는 서로 자기 포도나무와 무화과나무 아래로 이웃을 초대할 것이다.'"Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him. The LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?" Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. The angel said to those who were standing before him, "Take off his filthy clothes." Then he said to Joshua, "See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put rich garments on you." Then I said, "Put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the LORD stood by.The angel of the LORD gave this charge to Joshua:
"This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'If you will walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here. " 'Listen, O high priest Joshua and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch. See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua! There are seven eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,' says the LORD Almighty, 'and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day.
" 'In that day each of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and fig tree,' declares the LORD Almighty."

Zechariah 2:1-13

내가 고개를 들어 보니, 측량줄을 가진 사람이 하나 나타났다.
내가 그에게 물었다. "어디로 가십니까?" 그가 나에게 대답하였다. "예루살렘을 재서, 그 너비와 길이가 얼마나 되는지 알려고 간다."
그 때에 내게 말하는 천사가 앞으로 나아가자 다른 천사가 그를 맞으려고 나아와서,
그에게 말하였다. "너는 저 젊은이에게 달려가서 이렇게 알려라. '예루살렘 안에 사람과 짐승이 많아져서, 예루살렘이 성벽으로 두를 수 없을 만큼 커질 것이다.
바깥으로는 내가 예루살렘의 둘레를 불로 감싸 보호하는 불 성벽이 되고, 안으로는 내가 그 안에 살면서 나의 영광을 드러내겠다. 나 주의 말이다.어서 너희는 북쪽 땅에서 도망쳐 나오너라! 나 주의 말이다. 내가 너희를 하늘 아래에서 사방으로 부는 바람처럼 흩어지게 하였지만, 이제는 어서 나오너라. 나 주의 말이다.
바빌론 도성에서 살고 있는 시온 백성아, 어서 빠져 나오너라!'"
"만군의 주님께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 주님께서 나에게 영광스러운 임무를 맡기시고, 너희를 약탈한 민족에게로 나를 보내시면서 말씀하신다. '너희에게 손대는 자는 곧 주님의 눈동자를 건드리는 자다.
내가 손을 들어 그들을 치면, 그들은 저희가 부리던 종에게 노략질을 당할 것이다.' 그 때에야 비로소 너희는 만군의 주님께서 나를 보내셨음을 알게 될 것이다."
"도성 시온아, 기뻐하며 노래를 불러라. 내가 간다. 내가 네 안에 머무르면서 살겠다. 나 주의 말이다."그 날에, 많은 이방 백성들이 주님께 와서 그의 백성이 될 것이며, 주님께서 예루살렘에 머무르시면서, 너희와 함께 사실 것이다. 그 때에야 너희는, 만군의 주님께서 나를 너희에게 보내셨음을 알게 될 것이다.
주님께서는 그 거룩한 땅에서 유다를 특별한 소유로 삼으실 것이며, 예루살렘을 가장 사랑하는 도성으로 선택하실 것이다.
육체를 지닌 모든 사람은 주님 앞에서 잠잠하여라. 주님께서 그 거룩한 거처에서 일어나셨다!
Then I looked up--and there before me was a man with a measuring line in his hand!
I asked, "Where are you going?" He answered me, "To measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is."
Then the angel who was speaking to me left, and another angel came to meet him
and said to him: "Run, tell that young man, 'Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of men and livestock in it.
And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,' declares the LORD, 'and I will be its glory within.'"Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north," declares the LORD, "for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven," declares the LORD.
"Come, O Zion! Escape, you who live in the Daughter of Babylon!"
For this is what the LORD Almighty says: "After he has honored me and has sent me against the nations that have plundered you--for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye-
I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me.
"Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you," declares the LORD."Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you.
The LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem.
Be still before the LORD, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling."

Zechariah 1:18-21

내가 고개를 들어서 보니, 뿔 네 개가 내 앞에 나타났다. 나는 내게 말하는 천사에게 물었다. "이것은 무슨 뿔들입니까?" 그가 나에게 대답하였다. "이것들은 유다와 이스라엘과 예루살렘을 흩어 버린 뿔이다."

"이 뿔 넷은 유다 사람을 뿔뿔이 흩어지게 하여, 유다 사람이 감히 머리도 쳐들지 못하게 만든 나라들이다. 그러나 대장장이 넷은, 곧 유다 땅을 뿔로 들이받아 백성을 흩어 버린 이방 나라들을 떨게 하고, 그 이방 나라들의 뿔을 꺾으려고 온 사람들이다."Then I looked up--and there before me were four horns! I asked the angel who was speaking to me, "What are these?" He answered me, "These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem."
Then the LORD showed me four craftsmen.I asked, "What are these coming to do?" He answered, "These are the horns that scattered Judah so that no one could raise his head, but the craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down these horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter its people."

Zechariah 1:7-17

During the night I had a vision--and there before me was a man riding a red horse! He was standing among the myrtle trees in a ravine. Behind him were red, brown and white horses. I asked, "What are these, my lord?" The angel who was talking with me answered, "I will show you what they are." Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained, "They are the ones the LORD has sent to go throughout the earth."And they reported to the angel of the LORD, who was standing among the myrtle trees, "We have gone throughout the earth and found the whole world at rest and in peace."
Then the angel of the LORD said, "LORD Almighty, how long will you withhold mercy from Jerusalem and from the towns of Judah, which you have been angry with these seventy years?" So the LORD spoke kind and comforting words to the angel who talked with me. Then the angel who was speaking to me said, "Proclaim this word: This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'I am very jealous for Jerusalem and Zion,
but I am very angry with the nations that feel secure. I was only a little angry, but they added to the calamity.'"Therefore, this is what the LORD says: 'I will return to Jerusalem with mercy, and there my house will be rebuilt. And the measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem,' declares the LORD Almighty.
"Proclaim further: This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'My towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.' "

Acts 12:1-7

He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword.
When he saw that this pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover. So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. "Quick, get up!" he said, and the chains fell off Peter's wrists.

Zechariah 1:1-6

Therefore tell the people: This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Return to me,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'and I will return to you,' says the LORD Almighty. Do not be like your forefathers, to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Turn from your evil ways and your evil practices.' But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the LORD. Where are your forefathers now? And the prophets, do they live forever?But did not my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, overtake your forefathers? "Then they repented and said, 'The LORD Almighty has done to us what our ways and practices deserve, just as he determined to do.'"

Haggai 2:20-23

I will overturn royal thrones and shatter the power of the foreign kingdoms. I will overthrow chariots and their drivers; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother." 'On that day,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,' declares the LORD, 'and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,' declares the LORD Almighty."

Haggai 2:10-19

" The priests answered, "No." Then Haggai said, "If a person defiled by contact with a dead body touches one of these things, does it become defiled?" "Yes," the priests replied, "it becomes defiled." Then Haggai said, " 'So it is with this people and this nation in my sight,' declares the LORD. 'Whatever they do and whatever they offer there is defiled. " 'Now give careful thought to this from this day on --consider how things were before one stone was laid on another in the LORD's temple.When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were only twenty. I struck all the work of your hands with blight, mildew and hail, yet you did not turn to me,' declares the LORD.'From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid. Give careful thought: Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit. " 'From this day on I will bless you.' "

Haggai 2:1-9

Ask them,'Who of you is left who saw this house in its former glory? How does it look to you now? Does it not seem to you like nothing?
But now be strong, O Zerubbabel,' declares the LORD. 'Be strong, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,' declares the LORD, 'and work. For I am with you,' declares the LORD Almighty.'This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.'"This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD Almighty.'The silver is mine and the gold is mine,' declares the LORD Almighty.'The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,' says the LORD Almighty. 'And in this place I will grant peace,' declares the LORD Almighty."

Acts 11

이 말을 듣고 그들은 잠잠하였다. 그들은 하나님께 영광을 돌리고 "이제 하나님께서는, 이방 사람들에게도 회개하여 생명에 이르는 길을 열어 주셨다" 하고 말하였다."As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.Then I remembered what the Lord had said: 'John baptized withwater, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'
So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?"
When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."

So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.

Haggai 1:9-15

너희가 많이 거두기를 바랐으나 얼마 거두지 못했고, 너희가 집으로 거두어 들였으나 내가 그것을 흩어 버렸다. 그 까닭이 무엇이냐? 나 만군의 주의 말이다. 나의 집은 이렇게 무너져 있는데, 너희는 저마다 제집 일에만 바쁘기 때문이다. 그러므로 너희 때문에 하늘은 이슬을 그치고, 땅은 소출을 그쳤다.내가 땅 위에 가뭄을 들게 하였다. 산 위에도, 곡물과 새 포도주와 기름 위에도, 밭에서 나는 모든 것 위에도, 사람과 짐승 위에도, 너희가 애써서 기르는 온갖 것 위에도 가뭄이 들게 하였다." 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 여호사닥의 아들 여호수아 대제사장과 남아 있는 모든 백성이, 주 그들의 하나님이 하신 말씀과, 주 하나님이 보내신 학개 예언자가 한 말을 따랐다. 백성은 주님을 두려워하였다. 주님의 특사 학개는, 주님께서 하신 말씀을 백성에게 전하였다. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the LORD Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house. Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops.I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the oil and whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle, and on the labor of your hands."
Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the LORD their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the LORD their God had sent him. And the people feared the LORD. Then Haggai, the LORD's messenger, gave this message of the LORD to the people: "I am with you," declares the LORD. So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the LORD Almighty, their God,
on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month in the second year of King Darius.

Haggai 1:1-8

"성전이 이렇게 무너져 있는데, 지금이 너희만 잘 꾸민 집에 살고 있을 때란 말이냐? 나 만군의 주가 말한다. 너희는 살아온 지난날을 곰곰이 돌이켜 보아라.1 In the second year of King Darius, on the first day of the sixth month, the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jozadak,[a] the high priest: 2 This is what the LORD Almighty says: “These people say, ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the LORD’s house.’”
3 Then the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai: 4 “Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?”
5 Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. 6 You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.” 7 This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. 8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the LORD.

Zephania 3:14-20

도성 시온아, 노래하여라. 이스라엘아, 즐거이 외쳐라. 도성 예루살렘아, 마음껏 기뻐하며 즐거워하여라.
주님께서 징벌을 그치셨다. 너의 원수를 쫓아내셨다. 이스라엘의 왕 주님께서 너와 함께 계시니, 네가 다시는 화를 당할까 두려워하지 않을 것이다.그 날이 오면, 사람들이 예루살렘에게 말할 것이다. "시온아, 두려워하지 말아라. 힘없이 팔을 늘어뜨리고 있지 말아라. 주 너의 하나님이 너와 함께 계신다. 구원을 베푸실 전능하신 하나님이시다. 너를 보고서 기뻐하고 반기시고, 너를 사랑으로 새롭게 해주시고 너를 보고서 노래하며 기뻐하실 것이다. 축제 때에 즐거워하듯 하실 것이다." "내가 너에게서 두려움과 슬픔을 없애고, 네가 다시는 모욕을 받지 않게 하겠다. 때가 되면, 너를 억누르는 자들을 내가 모두 벌하겠다. 없어진 이들을 찾아오고, 흩어진 이들을 불러모으겠다. 흩어져서 사는 그 모든 땅에서, 부끄러움을 겪던 나의 백성이 칭송과 영예를 받게 하겠다. 그 때가 되면, 내가 너희를 모으겠다. 그 때에 내가 너희를 고향으로 인도하겠다. 사로잡혀 갔던 이들을 너희가 보는 앞에서 데려오고, 이 땅의 모든 민족 가운데서, 너희가 영예와 칭송을 받게 하겠다. 나 주가 말한다."Sing, O Daughter of Zion; shout aloud, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O Daughter of Jerusalem! The LORD has taken away your punishment, he has turned back your enemy. The LORD, the King of Israel, is with you; never again will you fear any harm.On that day they will say to Jerusalem, "Do not fear, O Zion; do not let your hands hang limp. The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." "The sorrows for the appointed feasts I will remove from you; they are a burden and a reproach to you. At that time I will deal with all who oppressed you; I will rescue the lame and gather those who have been scattered. I will give them praise and honor in every land where they were put to shame. At that time I will gather you; at that time I will bring you home. I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes," says the LORD.

Zephania 3:6-8

Zephaniah 3:1-5

Her priests profane the sanctuary and do violence to the law.
The LORD within her is righteous; he does no wrong. Morning by morning he dispenses his justice, and every new day he does not fail, yet the unrighteous know no shame.

Acts 9

The desert owl and the screech owl will roost on her columns. Their calls will echo through the windows, rubble will be in the doorways, the beams of cedar will be exposed. This is the carefree city that lived in safety. She said to herself, "I am, and there is none besides me." What a ruin she has become, a lair for wild beasts! All who pass by her scoff and shake their fists.

Zephaniah 2:8-11

This is what they will get in return for their pride, for insulting and mocking the people of the LORD Almighty.The LORD will be awesome to them when he destroys all the gods of the land. The nations on every shore will worship him, every one in its own land.

Zephaniah 2:4-7

Gaza will be abandoned and Ashkelon left in ruins. At midday Ashdod will be emptied and Ekron uprooted. Woe to you who live by the sea, O Kerethite people; the word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines. "I will destroy you, and none will be left."The land by the sea, where the Kerethites dwell, will be a place for shepherds and sheep pens. It will belong to the remnant of the house of Judah; there they will find pasture. In the evening they will lie down in the houses of Ashkelon. Zephaniah 2:1-3

The word of the LORD that came to Zephaniah son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, during the reign of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah:
"I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth," declares the LORD.
"I will sweep away both men and animals; I will sweep away the birds of the air and the fish of the sea. Acts 9

So Saul stayed with them and moved about freely in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord. He talked and debated with the Grecian Jews, but they tried to kill him. When the brothers learned of this, they took him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.

Lydda was near Joppa; so when the disciples heard that Peter was in Lydda, they sent two men to him and urged him, "Please come at once!"

Zephaniah 1:12-18

they will not drink the wine.”14 The great day of the LORD is near—
near and coming quickly.
The cry on the day of the LORD is bitter;
the Mighty Warrior shouts his battle cry.
15 That day will be a day of wrath—
a day of distress and anguish,
a day of trouble and ruin,
a day of darkness and gloom,
a day of clouds and blackness—
16 a day of trumpet and battle cry
against the fortified cities
and against the corner towers.17 “I will bring such distress on all people
that they will grope about like those who are blind,
because they have sinned against the LORD.
Their blood will be poured out like dust
and their entrails like dung.
18 Neither their silver nor their gold
will be able to save them
on the day of the LORD’s wrath.”

In the fire of his jealousy
the whole earth will be consumed,
for he will make a sudden end
of all who live on the earth.

Zephaniah 1:7-11

Habakkuk 3:1-9

Habakkuk 2:17-20

그들이 너를 보고 '홧김에 이웃에게 술을 퍼 먹이고 술에 취하여 곯아떨어지게 하고는, 그 알몸을 헤쳐 보는 자야, 너는 망한다!' 할 것이다.영광은 커녕, 실컷 능욕이나 당할 것이다. 이제는 네가 마시고 곯아떨어져 네 알몸을 드러낼 것이다. 주의 오른손에 들린 심판의 잔이 네게 이를 것이다. 더러운 욕이 네 영광을 가릴 것이다.
네가 레바논에서 저지른 폭력이 이제, 네게로 되돌아갈 것이다. 네가 짐승을 잔인하게 죽였으나, 이제는 그 살육이 너를 덮칠 것이다. 사람들을 학살하면서, 땅과 성읍과 거기에 사는 주민에게 폭력을 휘둘렀기 때문이다.
2 “Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed
and establishes a town by injustice!
13 Has not the LORD Almighty determined
that the people’s labor is only fuel for the fire,
that the nations exhaust themselves for nothing?
14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea. 15 “Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors,
pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk,
so that he can gaze on their naked bodies!
16 You will be filled with shame instead of glory.
Now it is your turn! Drink and let your nakedness be exposed[e]!
The cup from the LORD’s right hand is coming around to you,
and disgrace will cover your glory.
17 The violence you have done to Lebanon will overwhelm you,
and your destruction of animals will terrify you.
For you have shed human blood;
you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them.

Acts 7:1-60

사람들이 스데반을 돌로 칠 때에, 스데반은 "주 예수님, 내 영혼을 받아 주십시오" 하고 부르짖었다.
그리고 무릎을 꿇고서 큰 소리로 "주님, 이 죄를 저 사람들에게 돌리지 마십시오" 하고 외쳤다. 이 말을 하고 스데반은 잠들었다.When they heard this, they were furious and gnashed their teeth at him.
But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God."Look," he said, "I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God."
At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him,
dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.
While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."
Then he fell on his knees and cried out, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them." When he had said this, he fell asleep.

Habakkuk 2:6-11

정복당한 자 모두가 빈정대는 노래를 지어서 정복자를 비웃으며, 비웃는 시를 지어서 정복자를 욕하지 않겠느냐? 그들이 너를 보고 '남의 것을 긁어 모아 네 것을 삼은 자야, 너는 망한다!' 할 것이다. 빼앗은 것으로 부자가 된 자야, 네가 언제까지 그럴 것이냐?
빚쟁이들이 갑자기 들이닥치지 않겠느냐? 그들이 잠에서 깨어서, 너를 괴롭히지 않겠느냐? 네가 그들에게 털리지 않겠느냐?
네가 수많은 민족을 털었으니, 살아 남은 모든 민족에게 이제는 네가 털릴 차례다. 네가 사람들을 피 흘려 죽게 하고, 땅과 성읍과 그 안에 사는 주민에게 폭력을 휘두른 탓이다.
그들이 너를 보고 '네 집을 부유하게 하려고 부당한 이득을 탐내는 자야, 높은 곳에 둥지를 틀고 재앙에서 벗어나려 하지만, 너는 망한다!' 할 것이다.
네가 뭇 민족을 꾀어서 망하게 한 것이 너의 집안에 화를 불러들인 것이고, 너 스스로 죄를 지은 것이다.담에서 돌들이 부르짖으면, 집에서 들보가 대답할 것이다. “Will not all of them taunt him with ridicule and scorn, saying,

“‘Woe to him who piles up stolen goods
and makes himself wealthy by extortion!
How long must this go on?’
7 Will not your creditors suddenly arise?
Will they not wake up and make you tremble?
Then you will become their prey.
8 Because you have plundered many nations,
the peoples who are left will plunder you.
For you have shed human blood;
you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them. “Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain,
setting his nest on high
to escape the clutches of ruin!
10 You have plotted the ruin of many peoples,
shaming your own house and forfeiting your life.
11 The stones of the wall will cry out,
and the beams of the woodwork will echo it.

Habakkuk 2:1-5

내가 초소 위에 올라가서 서겠다. 망대 위에 올라가서 나의 자리를 지키겠다. 주님께서 나에게 무엇이라고 말씀하실지 기다려 보겠다. 내가 호소한 것에 대하여 주님께서 어떻게 대답하실지를 기다려 보겠다.
주님께서 나에게 대답하셨다. "너는 이 묵시를 기록하여라. 판에 똑똑히 새겨서, 누구든지 달려가면서도 읽을 수 있게 하여라.
이 묵시는, 정한 때가 되어야 이루어진다. 끝이 곧 온다는 것을 말하고 있다. 이것은 공연한 말이 아니니, 비록 더디더라도 그 때를 기다려라. 반드시 오고야 만다. 늦어지지 않을 것이다.
마음이 한껏 부푼 교만한 자를 보아라. 그는 정직하지 못하다. 그러나 의인은 믿음으로 산다.
부유한 재산은 사람을 속일 뿐이다. 탐욕스러운 사람은 거만하고, 탐욕을 채우느라고 쉴 날이 없다. 그러나 탐욕은 무덤과도 같아서, 그들이 스올처럼 목구멍을 넓게 벌려도, 죽음처럼 성이 차지 않을 것이다. 그들이 모든 나라를 정복하고 모든 민족을 사로잡지만,I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.
Then the LORD replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
"See, he is puffed up; his desires are not upright-- but the righteous will live by his faith -
indeed, wine betrays him; he is arrogant and never at rest. Because he is as greedy as the grave and like death is never satisfied, he gathers to himself all the nations and takes captive all the peoples.

Acts 6:1-15

We can see how we all lose sight and focus if we do not stay alert to the receving and spreading of the word. We can easily get sidetracked and focus on doing things that are not as important as the word of God. Furthermore, we can see Stephen's determination to further spread the word of God and he does not seem to be worried by the consequences. I wonder how we would react if we were put in a similar situation.

Habakkuk 1:5-11

"너희는 민족들을 눈여겨 보아라. 놀라고 질겁할 일이 벌어질 것이다. 너희가 살아 있는 동안에, 내가 그 일을 벌이겠다. 너희가 듣고도, 도저히 믿지 못할 일을 벌이겠다.이제 내가 바빌로니아 사람을 일으키겠다. 그들은 사납고 성급한 민족이어서, 천하를 주름 잡고 돌아다니며, 남들이 사는 곳을 제 것처럼 차지할 것이다.
그들은 두렵고 무서운 백성이다. 자기들이 하는 것만이 정의라고 생각하고, 자기들의 권위만을 내세우는 자들이다. 그들이 부리는 말은 표범보다 날쌔고, 해거름에 나타나는 굶주린 늑대보다도 사납다. 그들의 기병은 쏜살같이 달린다. 먼 곳에서 그렇게 달려온다. 먹이를 덮치는 독수리처럼 날쌔게 날아온다.
그들은 폭력을 휘두르러 오는데, 폭력을 앞세우고 와서, 포로를 모래알처럼 많이 사로잡아 갈 것이다.
그들은 왕들을 업신여기고, 통치자들을 비웃을 것이다. 견고한 성도 모두 우습게 여기고, 흙언덕을 쌓아서 그 성들을 점령할 것이다.그러나 제 힘이 곧 하나님이라고 여기는 이 죄인들도 마침내 바람처럼 사라져서 없어질 것이다.""Look at the nations and watch-- and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.I am raising up the Babylonians, that ruthless and impetuous people, who sweep across the whole earth to seize dwelling places not their own. They are a feared and dreaded people; they are a law to themselves and promote their own honor. Their horses are swifter than leopards, fiercer than wolves at dusk. Their cavalry gallops headlong; their horsemen come from afar. They fly like a vulture swooping to devour; they all come bent on violence. Their hordes advance like a desert wind and gather prisoners like sand. They deride kings and scoff at rulers. They laugh at all fortified cities; they build earthen ramps and capture them.Then they sweep past like the wind and go on-- guilty men, whose own strength is their god."

Habakkuk 1:1-4

이것은 예언자 하박국이 묵시로 받은 말씀이다. 살려 달라고 부르짖어도 듣지 않으시고, "폭력이다!" 하고 외쳐도 구해 주지 않으시니, 주님, 언제까지 그러실 겁니까? 어찌하여 나로 불의를 보게 하십니까? 어찌하여 악을 그대로 보기만 하십니까? 약탈과 폭력이 제 앞에서 벌어지고, 다툼과 시비가 그칠 사이가 없습니다.
율법이 해이하고, 공의가 아주 시행되지 못합니다. 악인이 의인을 협박하니, 공의가 왜곡되고 말았습니다.g, O LORD, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, "Violence!" but you do not save? Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrong? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds.
Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted.

Nahum 3:12-19

네 모든 요새가 무화과처럼 떨어질 것이다. 흔들기만 하면 먹을 이의 입에 떨어지는, 처음 익은 무화과처럼 될 것이다. 네 군인들을 보아라. 그들은 모두 여자들이다! 밀어닥치는 대적들 앞에서 네 땅의 성문들은 모두 열리고, 빗장은 불에 타 버렸다. 이제 에워싸일 터이니, 물이나 길어 두려무나. 너의 요새를 탄탄하게 해 두어야 할 것이니, 수렁 속으로 들어가서 진흙을 짓이기고, 벽돌을 찍어 내려무나. 느치가 풀을 먹어 치우듯이, 거기에서 불이 너를 삼킬 것이고, 칼이 너를 벨 것이다. 느치처럼 불어나 보려무나. 메뚜기처럼 불어나 보려무나.네가 상인들을 하늘의 별보다 더 많게 하였으나, 느치가 땅을 황폐하게 하고 날아가듯이 그들이 날아가고 말 것이다. 너희 수비대가 메뚜기 떼처럼 많고 너의 관리들이 느치처럼 많아도, 추울 때에는 울타리에 붙어 있다가 해가 떠오르면 날아가고 마는 메뚜기 떼처럼, 어디론가 멀리 날아가고 말 것이다.
앗시리아의 왕아, 네 목자들이 다 죽고 네 귀족들이 영영 잠들었구나. 네 백성이 이 산 저 산으로 흩어졌으나, 다시 모을 사람이 없구나. 네 상처는 고칠 길이 없고, 네 부상은 치명적이다. 네 소식을 듣는 이들마다, 네가 망한 것을 보고 기뻐서 손뼉을 친다. 너의 계속되는 학대를 받지 않았다고 생각하는 사람이 어디에 있느냐? All your fortresses are like fig trees with their first ripe fruit; when they are shaken, the figs fall into the mouth of the eater. Look at your troops-- they are all women! The gates of your land are wide open to your enemies; fire has consumed their bars. Draw water for the siege, strengthen your defenses! Work the clay, tread the mortar, repair the brickwork! There the fire will devour you; the sword will cut you down and, like grasshoppers, consume you. Multiply like grasshoppers, multiply like locusts!You have increased the number of your merchants till they are more than the stars of the sky, but like locusts they strip the land and then fly away.
Your guards are like locusts, your officials like swarms of locusts that settle in the walls on a cold day-- but when the sun appears they fly away, and no one knows where. O king of Assyria, your shepherds slumber; your nobles lie down to rest. Your people are scattered on the mountains with no one to gather them.
Nothing can heal your wound; your injury is fatal. Everyone who hears the news about you claps his hands at your fall, for who has not felt your endless cruelty?

Book of Acts Chapter 5

대제사장과 그의 지지자들인 사두개파 사람들이 모두 시기심이 가득 차서 들고일어나,
사도들을 잡아다가 옥에 가두었다.
그런데 밤에 주님의 천사가 감옥 문을 열고, 그들을 데리고 나와서 말하기를,
"가서, 성전에 서서, 이 생명의 말씀을 남김없이 백성에게 전하여라!" 하였다.17 Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. 18 They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. 19 But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. 20 “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.”

그래서 지금 내가 여러분에게 말씀드리는 바는 이것이오. 이 사람들에게서 손을 떼고, 이들을 그대로 내버려 두시오. 이 사람들의 이 계획이나 활동이 사람에게서 난 것이면 망할 것이요,
하나님에게서 난 것이면 여러분은 그것을 없애 버릴 수 없소. 도리어 여러분이 하나님을 대적하는 자가 될까봐 두렵소." 그들은 그의 말을 옳게 여겼다.Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail.But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God."

Nahum 3:1-11

너는 망한다! 피의 도성! 거짓말과 강포가 가득하며 노략질을 그치지 않는 도성! 찢어지는 듯한 말채찍 소리, 요란하게 울리는 병거 바퀴 소리. 말이 달려온다. 병거가 굴러온다. 기병대가 습격하여 온다. 칼에 불이 난다. 창은 번개처럼 번쩍인다. 떼죽음, 높게 쌓인 시체 더미, 셀 수도 없는 시체. 사람이 시체 더미에 걸려서 넘어진다. 이것은 네가, 창녀가 되어서 음행을 일삼고, 마술을 써서 사람을 홀린 탓이다. 음행으로 뭇 나라를 홀리고, 마술로 뭇 민족을 꾀었기 때문이다. "이제 내가 너를 치겠다. 나 만군의 주가 선언한다. 내가 네 치마를 네 얼굴 위로 걷어 올려서 네 벌거벗은 것을 뭇 나라가 보게 하고, 네 부끄러운 곳을 뭇 왕국이 보게 하겠다.오물을 너에게 던져서 너를 부끄럽게 하고, 구경거리가 되게 하겠다. 너를 보는 사람마다 '니느웨가 망하였다만, 누가 그를 애도하랴?'하면서 너를 피하여 달아나니, 너를 위로할 자들을, 내가 어디에서 찾아올 수 있겠느냐?" 네가 테베보다 나은 것이 무엇이냐? 나일 강 옆에 자리 잡은 테베, 강물에 둘러 싸여 그 큰 물이 방어벽이 되고 그 큰 물이 성벽이 된 그 성읍, 에티오피아와 이집트가 얼마든지 힘이 되어 주고 붓과 리비아가 도와주었다. 그러나 그러한 성읍의 주민도 사로잡혀 가고, 포로가 되어서 끌려갔다. 어린 아이들은 길거리 모퉁이 모퉁이에서 나동그라져서 죽고, 귀족들은 제비 뽑혀서 잡혀 가고, 모든 지도자가 사슬에 묶여서 끌려갔다.너 또한 술에 취해서 갈팡질팡하고, 원수를 피하여 숨을 곳을 찾아, 허둥지둥 할 것이다.Woe to the city of blood, full of lies, full of plunder, never without victims!
The crack of whips, the clatter of wheels, galloping horses and jolting chariots!
Charging cavalry, flashing swords and glittering spears! Many casualties, piles of dead, bodies without number, people stumbling over the corpses- all because of the wanton lust of a harlot, alluring, the mistress of sorceries, who enslaved nations by her prostitution and peoples by her witchcraft. "I am against you," declares the LORD Almighty. "I will lift your skirts over your face. I will show the nations your nakedness and the kingdoms your shame.I will pelt you with filth, I will treat you with contempt and make you a spectacle. All who see you will flee from you and say, 'Nineveh is in ruins--who will mourn for her?' Where can I find anyone to comfort you?" Are you better than Thebes, situated on the Nile, with water around her? The river was her defense, the waters her wall. Cush and Egypt were her boundless strength; Put and Libya were among her allies. Yet she was taken captive and went into exile. Her infants were dashed to pieces at the head of every street. Lots were cast for her nobles, and all her great men were put in chains.You too will become drunk; you will go into hiding and seek refuge from the enemy.

Nahum 2:8-13

니느웨는 생길 때로부터, 물이 가득 찬 연못처럼 주민이 가득하였으나, 이제 모두 허겁지겁 달아나니, "멈추어라, 멈추어라!" 하고 소리를 치나, 뒤돌아보는 사람이 없다.
은을 털어라! 금을 털어라! 얼마든지 쌓여 있다. 온갖 진귀한 보물이 많기도 하구나!
털리고 털려서 빈털터리가 되었다. 떨리는 가슴, 후들거리는 무릎, 끊어질 것같이 아픈 허리, 하얗게 질린 얼굴들!그 사자들의 굴이 어디에 있느냐? 사자들이 그 새끼들을 먹이던 곳이 어디에 있느냐? 수사자와 암사자와 새끼 사자가 겁없이 드나들던 그 곳이 어디에 있느냐?
수사자가 새끼에게 먹이를 넉넉히 먹이려고, 숱하게 죽이더니, 암컷에게도 많이 먹이려고, 먹이를 많이도 죽이더니, 사냥하여 온 것으로 바위 굴을 가득 채우고, 잡아온 먹이로 사자굴을 가득 채우더니.
"내가 너를 치겠다. 나 만군의 주의 말이다. 네 병거를 불살라서 연기와 함께 사라지게 하겠다. 너의 새끼 사자들은 칼을 맞고 죽을 것이다. 이 세상에 네 먹이를 남겨 놓지 않겠다. 네가 보낸 전령의 전갈이 다시는 들리지 않을 것이다."Nineveh is like a pool, and its water is draining away. "Stop! Stop!" they cry, but no one turns back. Plunder the silver! Plunder the gold! The supply is endless, the wealth from all its treasures! She is pillaged, plundered, stripped! Hearts melt, knees give way, bodies tremble, every face grows pale.Where now is the lions' den, the place where they fed their young, where the lion and lioness went, and the cubs, with nothing to fear? The lion killed enough for his cubs and strangled the prey for his mate, filling his lairs with the kill and his dens with the prey. "I am against you," declares the LORD Almighty. "I will burn up your chariots in smoke, and the sword will devour your young lions. I will leave you no prey on the earth. The voices of your messengers will no longer be heard."

Nahum 2:1-7

침략군이 너를 치러 올라왔다. 성을 지켜 보려무나. 길을 지켜 보려무나. 허리를 질끈 동이고 있는 힘을 다하여 막아 보려무나.(약탈자들이 야곱과 이스라엘을 약탈하고, 포도나무 가지를 없애 버렸지만, 주님께서 야곱의 영광을 회복시키시며, 이스라엘의 영광을 회복시키실 것이다.) 적군들은 붉은 방패를 들고, 자주색 군복을 입었다. 병거가 대열을 지어 올 때에 그 철갑이 불꽃처럼 번쩍이고, 노송나무 창이 물결 친다.
병거들이 질풍처럼 거리를 휩쓸고, 광장에서 이리저리 달리니, 그 모양이 횃불 같고, 빠르기가 번개 같다.
정예부대를 앞세웠으나, 거꾸러지면서도 돌격한다. 벼락같이 성벽에 들이닥쳐 성벽 부수는 장치를 설치한다.마침내 강의 수문이 터지고, 왕궁이 휩쓸려서 떠내려간다. 왕후가 벌거벗은 몸으로 끌려가고, 시녀들이 비둘기처럼 구슬피 울면서 가슴을 치는 것은 정해진 일이다.An attacker advances against you, Nineveh . Guard the fortress, watch the road, brace yourselves, marshal all your strength!
The LORD will restore the splendor of Jacob like the splendor of Israel, though destroyers have laid them waste and have ruined their vines. The shields of his soldiers are red; the warriors are clad in scarlet. The metal on the chariots flashes on the day they are made ready; the spears of pine are brandished. The chariots storm through the streets, rushing back and forth through the squares. They look like flaming torches; they dart about like lightning. He summons his picked troops, yet they stumble on their way. They dash to the city wall; the protective shield is put in place.The river gates are thrown open and the palace collapses. It is decreed that the city be exiled and carried away. Its slave girls moan like doves and beat upon their breasts.

Nahum 1:12-15

"나 주가 말한다. 그들의 힘이 막강하고 수가 많을지라도, 잘려서 없어지고 말 것이다. 비록 내가 너를 괴롭혔으나, 다시는 너를 더 괴롭히지 않겠다.
나 이제 너에게서 그들의 멍에를 꺾어 버리고, 너를 묶은 사슬을 끊겠다."
주님께서 너를 두고 명하신 것이 있다. "너에게서는 이제, 네 이름을 이을 자손이 나지 않을 것이다. 네 산당에서 새겨 만든 신상과 부어 만든 우상을 다 부수어 버리며, 네가 쓸모 없게 되었으니, 내가 이제 네 무덤을 파 놓겠다."
보아라, 좋은 소식을 전하는 사람, 평화를 알리는 사람이 산을 넘어서 달려온다. 유다야, 네 절기를 지키고, 네 서원을 갚아라. 악한 자들이 완전히 사라졌으니, 다시는 너를 치러 오지 못한다.This is what the LORD says: "Although they have allies and are numerous, they will be cut off and pass away. Although I have afflicted you, O Judah , I will afflict you no more.
Now I will break their yoke from your neck and tear your shackles away."
The LORD has given a command concerning you, Nineveh : "You will have no descendants to bear your name. I will destroy the carved images and cast idols that are in the temple of your gods. I will prepare your grave, for you are vile."
Look, there on the mountains, the feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace! Celebrate your festivals, O Judah, and fulfill your vows. No more will the wicked invade you; they will be completely destroyed.

Nahum 1:7-11

주님은 선하시므로, 환난을 당할 때에 피할 피난처가 되신다. 주님께 피하는 사람은 주님께서 보살펴 주시지만,
니느웨는 범람하는 홍수로 쓸어 버리시고, 원수들을 흑암 속으로 던지신다.
그들이 아무리 주님을 거역하여 음모를 꾸며도 주님께서는 그들을 단번에 없애 버리실 것이니, 두 번까지 수고하지도 않으실 것이다.
그들은 가시덤불처럼 엉클어지고, 술고래처럼 곯아떨어져서, 마른 검불처럼 다 타 버릴 것이다.주님을 거역하며 음모를 꾸미는 자, 흉악한 일을 부추기는 자가, 바로 너 니느웨에게서 나오지 않았느냐?The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,
but with an overwhelming flood he will make an end of Nineveh ; he will pursue his foes into darkness.
Whatever they plot against the LORD he will bring to an end; trouble will not come a second time.
They will be entangled among thorns and drunk from their wine; they will be consumed like dry stubble.From you, O Nineveh , has one come forth who plots evil against the LORD and counsels wickedness.

Nahum 1:1-6

이것은 엘고스 사람 나훔이, 니느웨가 형벌을 받을 것을 내다보고 쓴 묵시록이다.

The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The LORD takes vengeance on his foes and maintains his wrath against his enemies.
The LORD is slow to anger and great in power; the LORD will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.
He rebukes the sea and dries it up; he makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither and the blossoms of Lebanon fade.
The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it.Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him.

Micah 7:14-20

주님, 주님 같으신 하나님이 또 어디에 있겠습니까. 주님께서는 죄악을 사유하시며 살아 남은 주님의 백성의 죄를 용서하십니다. 진노하시되, 그 노여움을 언제까지나 품고 계시지는 않고, 기꺼이 한결같은 사랑을 베푸십니다.
주님께서 다시 우리에게 자비를 베푸시고, 우리의 모든 죄를 주님의 발로 밟아서, 저 바다 밑 깊은 곳으로 던지십니다.
주님께서는 옛적에 우리의 조상에게 맹세하신 대로, 야곱에게 성실을 베푸시며, 아브라함에게 인애를 더하여 주십니다; Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your inheritance, which lives by itself in a forest, in fertile pasturelands. Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead as in days long ago.
"As in the days when you came out of Egypt, I will show them my wonders."Nations will see and be ashamed, deprived of all their power. They will lay their hands on their mouths and their ears will become deaf.
They will lick dust like a snake, like creatures that crawl on the ground. They will come trembling out of their dens; they will turn in fear to the LORD our God and will be afraid of you.
Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.
You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
You will be true to Jacob, and show mercy to Abraham, as you pledged on oath to our fathers in days long ago.

Micah 7:8-13

그들이 살던 땅은, 거기에 사는 악한 자들의 죄 때문에, 사막이 되고 말 것이다.Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.

In that day people will come to you from Assyria and the cities of Egypt, even from Egypt to the Euphrates and from sea to sea and from mountain to mountain.
The earth will become desolate because of its inhabitants, as the result of their deeds.

Acts 4:32-37

Micah 7:1-7

Israel’s Misery

1 What misery is mine!
I am like one who gathers summer fruit
at the gleaning of the vineyard;
there is no cluster of grapes to eat,
none of the early figs that I crave.
2 The faithful have been swept from the land;
not one upright person remains.
Everyone lies in wait to shed blood;
they hunt each other with nets.
3 Both hands are skilled in doing evil;
the ruler demands gifts,
the judge accepts bribes,
the powerful dictate what they desire—
they all conspire together.
4 The best of them is like a brier,
the most upright worse than a thorn hedge.
The day God visits you has come,
the day your watchmen sound the alarm.
Now is the time of your confusion.
5 Do not trust a neighbor;
put no confidence in a friend.
Even with the woman who lies in your embrace
guard the words of your lips.
6 For a son dishonors his father,
a daughter rises up against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—
a man’s enemies are the members of his own household.
7 But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me.

악한 일을 하는 데는 이력이 난 사람들이다. 모두가 탐욕스러운 관리, 돈에 매수된 재판관, 사리사욕을 채우는 권력자뿐이다. 모두들 서로 공모한다. 그들 가운데서 제일 좋다고 하는 자도 쓸모 없는 잡초와 같고, 가장 정직하다고 하는 자도 가시나무 울타리보다 더 고약하다. 너희의 파수꾼의 날이 다가왔다. 하나님께서 너희를 심판하실 날이 다가왔다. 이제 그들이 혼란에 빠질 때가 되었다.너희는 이웃을 믿지 말아라. 친구도 신뢰하지 말아라. 품에 안겨서 잠드는 아내에게도 말을 다 털어놓지 말아라.이 시대에는, 아들이 아버지를 경멸하고, 딸이 어머니에게 대들고, 며느리가 시어머니와 다툰다. 사람의 원수가 곧 자기 집안 사람일 것이다.
그러나 나는 희망을 가지고 주님을 바라본다. 나를 구원하실 하나님을 기다린다. 내 하나님께서 내 간구를 들으신다.

Micah 6:9-16

Israel’s Guilt and Punishment

9 Listen! The LORD is calling to the city—
and to fear your name is wisdom—
“Heed the rod and the One who appointed it.[b]
10 Am I still to forget your ill-gotten treasures, you wicked house,
and the short ephah,[c] which is accursed?
11 Shall I acquit someone with dishonest scales,
with a bag of false weights?
12 Your rich people are violent;
your inhabitants are liars
and their tongues speak deceitfully.
13 Therefore, I have begun to destroy you,
to ruin[d] you because of your sins.
14 You will eat but not be satisfied;
your stomach will still be empty.[e]
You will store up but save nothing,
because what you save[f] I will give to the sword.
15 You will plant but not harvest;
you will press olives but not use the oil,
you will crush grapes but not drink the wine.
16 You have observed the statutes of Omri
and all the practices of Ahab’s house;
you have followed their traditions.
Therefore I will give you over to ruin
and your people to derision;
you will bear the scorn of the nations.[g]”

수천 마리의 양이나, 수만의 강 줄기를 채울 올리브 기름을 드리면, 주님께서 기뻐하시겠습니까? 내 허물을 벗겨 주시기를 빌면서, 내 맏아들이라도 주님께 바쳐야 합니까? 내가 지은 죄를 용서하여 주시기를 빌면서, 이 몸의 열매를 주님께 바쳐야 합니까?
너 사람아, 무엇이 착한 일인지를 주님께서 이미 말씀하셨다. 주님께서 너에게 요구하시는 것이 무엇인지도 이미 말씀하셨다. 오로지 공의를 실천하며 인자를 사랑하며 겸손히 네 하나님과 함께 행하는 것이 아니냐!With what shall I come before the LORD and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Micah 6:1-5

나는 너희를 이집트 땅에서 데리고 나왔다. 나는 너희의 몸값을 치르고서, 너희를 종살이하던 집에서 데리고 나왔다. 모세와 아론과 미리암을 보내서, 너희를 거기에서 데리고 나오게 한 것도 바로 나다.

I brought you up out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. I sent Moses to lead you, also Aaron and Miriam.
My people, remember what Balak king of Moab counseled and what Balaam son of Beor answered. Remember your journey from Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the righteous acts of the LORD."

Acts 3:1-10

또 그가 아름다운 문 곁에 앉아 구걸하던 바로 그 사람임을 알고서, 그에게 일어난 일로 몹시 놀랐으며, 이상하게 여겼다.One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer--at three in the afternoon.
Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.
When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.
Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!"
So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."
Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong.
He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.
When all the people saw him walking and praising God,
they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Micah 5:10-15

"나 주가 선언한다. 그 날이 오면, 너희가 가진 군마를 없애 버리고 말이 끄는 병거를 부수어 버리겠다.너희 땅에 세운 성곽들을 부수어 버리고, 요새들은 모두 파괴하여 버리겠다.
너희가 쓰던 마법을 없앨 것이니, 너희가 다시는 점을 치지 않을 것이다.
너희가 새긴 우상을 파괴하여 버리고, 신성하게 여긴 돌 기둥들도 부수어 버려서, 다시는 너희가 만든 그런 것들을 너희가 섬기지 못하게 하겠다.
너희 가운데서 아세라 여신상을 모두 뽑아 버리고, 너희가 사는 성읍들을 파괴하겠다.
나에게 복종하지 않은 모든 민족에게, 화가 나는 대로, 분노를 참지 않고 보복하겠다.""In that day," declares the LORD, "I will destroy your horses from among you and demolish your chariots.I will destroy the cities of your land and tear down all your strongholds.
I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.
I will destroy your carved images and your sacred stones from among you; you will no longer bow down to the work of your hands.
I will uproot from among you your Asherah poles and demolish your cities.
I will take vengeance in anger and wrath upon the nations that have not obeyed me."

Micah 5:6-9

He will deliver us from the Assyrian when he invades our land and marches into our borders. The remnant of Jacob will be in the midst of many peoples like dew from the LORD, like showers on the grass, which do not wait for man or linger for mankind.
The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, which mauls and mangles as it goes, and no one can rescue. Your hand will be lifted up in triumph over your enemies, and all your foes will be destroyed.

Micah 5:1-5

" Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor gives birth and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites. He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth. And he will be their peace. When the Assyrian invades our land and marches through our fortresses, we will raise against him seven shepherds, even eight leaders of men.

Acts 1:1-11

그러나 성령이 너희에게 내리시면, 너희는 능력을 받고, 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아에서, 그리고 마침내 땅 끝에까지 이르러 내 증인이 될 것이다."
이 말씀을 하신 다음에, 그가 그들이 보는 앞에서 들려 올라가시니, 구름에 싸여서 보이지 않게 되었다.

until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.
After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.
On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.
For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"
He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them."Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

Micah 4:6-13

"나 주가 선언한다. 그 날이 오면, 비틀거리며 사는 백성을 내가 다시 불러오고, 사로잡혀 가서 고생하던 나의 백성을 다시 불러모으겠다.

As for you, O watchtower of the flock, O stronghold of the Daughter of Zion, the former dominion will be restored to you; kingship will come to the Daughter of Jerusalem."
Why do you now cry aloud-- have you no king? Has your counselor perished, that pain seizes you like that of a woman in labor?
Writhe in agony, O Daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city to camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued. There the LORD will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies.But now many nations are gathered against you. They say, "Let her be defiled, let our eyes gloat over Zion!"
But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD; they do not understand his plan, he who gathers them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
"Rise and thresh, O Daughter of Zion, for I will give you horns of iron; I will give you hoofs of bronze and you will break to pieces many nations." You will devote their ill-gotten gains to the LORD, their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.

Micah 4:1-5

그 날이 오면, 주님의 성전이 서 있는 주님의 산이 산들 가운데서 가장 높이 솟아서, 모든 언덕을 아래로 내려다 보며, 우뚝 설 것이다. 민족들이 구름처럼 그리로 몰려올 것이다.

주님께서 민족들 사이의 분쟁을 판결하시고, 원근 각처에 있는 열강 사이의 갈등을 해결하실 것이니, 나라마다 칼을 쳐서 보습을 만들고 창을 쳐서 낫을 만들 것이며, 나라와 나라가 칼을 들고 서로를 치지 않을 것이며, 다시는 군사 훈련도 하지 않을 것이다.
사람마다 자기 포도나무와 무화과나무 아래 앉아서, 평화롭게 살 것이다. 사람마다 아무런 위협을 받지 않으면서 살 것이다. 이것은 만군의 주님께서 약속하신 것이다.
다른 모든 민족은 각기 자기 신들을 섬기고 순종할 것이다. 그러나 우리는 언제까지나, 주 우리의 하나님만을 섬기고, 그분에게만 순종할 것이다.In the last days the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.
Many nations will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.
Every man will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the LORD Almighty has spoken.
All the nations may walk in the name of their gods; we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

Micah 3:9-12

who build Zion with bloodshed, and Jerusalem with wickedness.Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a price, and her prophets tell fortunes for money. Yet they lean upon the LORD and say, "Is not the LORD among us? No disaster will come upon us."
Therefore because of you, Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble, the temple hill a mound overgrown with thickets.

Micah 3:5-8

"예언자라는 자들이 나의 백성을 속이고 있다. 입에 먹을 것을 물려 주면 평화를 외치고, 먹을 것을 주지 아니하면 전쟁이 다가온다고 협박한다.예언자들아, 너희의 날이 끝났다. 이미 날이 저물었다. 내 백성을 곁길로 이끌었으니 너희가 다시는 환상을 못 볼 것이고 다시는 예언을 하지 못할 것이다."

The seers will be ashamed and the diviners disgraced. They will all cover their faces because there is no answer from God."
But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, to Israel his sin.

Micah 3:1-4

Then they will cry out to the LORD, but he will not answer them. At that time he will hide his face from them because of the evil they have done.

Micah 2:12-13

야곱아, 내가 반드시 너희를 다 모으겠다. 남아 있는 이스라엘 백성을 다 모으겠다. 내가 너희를 우리로 돌아오는 양 떼처럼 모으겠다. 양 떼로 가득 찬 초장과도 같이, 너희의 땅이 다시 백성으로 가득 찰 것이다.
길을 여는 자가 그들 앞서 올라가고 그들은 성문들을 부수고, 바깥으로 나갈 것이다. 그들의 왕이 앞장 서서 걸어가며 나 주가 선두에 서서 그들을 인도할 것이다.""I will surely gather all of you, O Jacob; I will surely bring together the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture; the place will throng with people.
One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their king will pass through before them, the LORD at their head."

Micah 2:6-11

내가 주님 앞에 나아갈 때에, 높으신 하나님께 예배드릴 때에, 무엇을 가지고 가야 합니까? 번제물로 바칠 일 년 된 송아지를 가지고 가면 됩니까?
수천 마리의 양이나, 수만의 강 줄기를 채울 올리브 기름을 드리면, 주님께서 기뻐하시겠습니까? 내 허물을 벗겨 주시기를 빌면서, 내 맏아들이라도 주님께 바쳐야 합니까? 내가 지은 죄를 용서하여 주시기를 빌면서, 이 몸의 열매를 주님께 바쳐야 합니까?
너 사람아, 무엇이 착한 일인지를 주님께서 이미 말씀하셨다. 주님께서 너에게 요구하시는 것이 무엇인지도 이미 말씀하셨다. 오로지 공의를 실천하며 인자를 사랑하며 겸손히 네 하나님과 함께 행하는 것이 아니냐!
들어라! 주님께서 성읍을 부르신다. (주님의 이름을 경외하는 것이 지혜다.) "너희는 매를 순히 받고 그것을 정한 나에게 순종하여라.
악한 자의 집에는, 속여서 모은 보물이 있다. 가짜 되를 쓴 그들을, 내가 어떻게 용서할 수 있겠느냐?틀리는 저울과 추로 속인 사람들을, 내가 어떻게 용서할 수 있겠느냐?With what shall I come before the LORD and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Listen! The LORD is calling to the city-- and to fear your name is wisdom-- "Heed the rod and the One who appointed it.
Am I still to forget, O wicked house, your ill-gotten treasures and the short ephah, which is accursed? Shall I acquit a man with dishonest scales, with a bag of false weights?

Micah 2:1-5

악한 궁리나 하는 자들, 잠자리에 누워서도 음모를 꾸미는 자들은 망한다! 그들은 권력을 쥐었다고 해서, 날이 새자마자 음모대로 해치우고 마는 자들이다.
탐나는 밭을 빼앗고, 탐나는 집을 제 것으로 만든다. 집 임자를 속여서 집을 빼앗고, 주인에게 딸린 사람들과 유산으로 받은 밭을 제 것으로 만든다.
"그러므로 나 주가 말한다. 내가 이 백성에게 재앙을 내리기로 계획하였으니, 이 재앙을 너희가 피할 수 없을 것이다. 너희가 거만하게 걸을 수도 없을 것이다. 그처럼 견디기 어려운 재앙의 때가 될 것이다.
그 날이 오면, 사람들이 너희를 두고서 이러한 풍자시를 지어서 읊을 것이다. 슬픔에 사무친 애가를 지어서 부를 것이다. '우리는 알거지가 되었다. 주님께서 내 백성의 유산의 몫을 나누시고, 나에게서 빼앗은 땅을 반역자들의 몫으로 할당해 주셨다.'
그러므로 주님의 총회에서 줄을 띄워 땅을 나누고 제비 뽑아 분배할 때에 너희의 몫은 없을 것이다.Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning's light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it.
They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them. They defraud a man of his home, a fellowman of his inheritance.
Therefore, the LORD says: "I am planning disaster against this people, from which you cannot save yourselves. You will no longer walk proudly, for it will be a time of calamity.
In that day men will ridicule you; they will taunt you with this mournful song: 'We are utterly ruined; my people's possession is divided up. He takes it from me! He assigns our fields to traitors.' "
Therefore you will have no one in the assembly of the LORD to divide the land by lot.

Micah 1:8-16

그러므로 내가 슬퍼하며 통곡하고, 맨발로 벌거벗고 다니며, 여우처럼 구슬피 울며, 타조처럼 목놓아 울 것이니, 이것은, 사마리아의 상처가 고칠 수 없는 병이 되고, 그 불치병이 유다에까지 전염되고, 기어이 예루살렘에까지, 내 백성의 성문에까지 이르렀기 때문이다. Tell it not in Gath ; weep not at all. In Beth Ophrah roll in the dust.Pass on in nakedness and shame, you who live in Shaphir. Those who live in Zaanan will not come out. Beth Ezel is in mourning; its protection is taken from you.
Those who live in Maroth writhe in pain, waiting for relief, because disaster has come from the LORD, even to the gate of Jerusalem. You who live in Lachish, harness the team to the chariot. You were the beginning of sin to the Daughter of Zion, for the transgressions of Israel were found in you. Therefore you will give parting gifts to Moresheth Gath. The town of Aczib will prove deceptive to the kings of Israel.
I will bring a conqueror against you who live in Mareshah. He who is the glory of Israel will come to Adullam.Shave your heads in mourning for the children in whom you delight; make yourselves as bald as the vulture, for they will go from you into exile.

Micah 1:1-7

뭇 산이 그 발 밑에서 녹고 평지가 갈라진다. 불 앞의 밀초처럼 녹아 내리고, 비탈길로 쏟아져 내리는 급류 같구나. 이 모든 일이 일어나는 것은 야곱의 죄 때문이며, 이스라엘 집의 범죄 때문이다. 야곱의 죄가 무엇이냐? 사마리아가 아니더냐? 유다의 산당이 무엇이냐? 예루살렘이 아니더냐? "내가 사마리아를 빈 들의 폐허로, 포도나 가꿀 밭으로 만들겠다. 그 성의 돌들은 골짜기에 쏟아 붓고, 성의 기초가 드러나게 하겠다.

The word of the LORD that came to Micah of Moresheth during the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah--the vision he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem. Hear, O peoples, all of you, listen, O earth and all who are in it, that the Sovereign LORD may witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
Look! The LORD is coming from his dwelling place; he comes down and treads the high places of the earth. The mountains melt beneath him and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like water rushing down a slope. All this is because of Jacob's transgression, because of the sins of the house of Israel. What is Jacob's transgression? Is it not Samaria? What is Judah's high place? Is it not Jerusalem?"Therefore I will make Samaria a heap of rubble, a place for planting vineyards. I will pour her stones into the valley and lay bare her foundations.
All her idols will be broken to pieces; all her temple gifts will be burned with fire; I will destroy all her images. Since she gathered her gifts from the wages of prostitutes, as the wages of prostitutes they will again be used."

Jonah 4:10-11

주님께서 말씀하셨다. "네가 수고하지도 않았고, 네가 키운 것도 아니며, 그저 하룻밤 사이에 자라났다가 하룻밤 사이에 죽어 버린 이 식물을 네가 그처럼 아까워하는데,하물며 좌우를 가릴 줄 모르는 사람들이 십이만 명도 더 되고 짐승들도 수없이 많은 이 큰 성읍 니느웨를, 어찌 내가 아끼지 않겠느냐?"; But the LORD said, "You have been concerned about this vine, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight.But Nineveh has more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left, and many cattle as well. Should I not be concerned about that great city?"

Jonah 4:6-9

주 하나님이 박 넝쿨을 마련하셨다. 주님께서는, 그것이 자라올라 요나의 머리 위에 그늘이 지게 하여, 그를 편안하게 해주셨다. 박 넝쿨 때문에 요나는 기분이 무척 좋았다.
그러나 다음날 동이 틀 무렵, 하나님이 벌레를 한 마리 마련하셨는데, 그것이 박 넝쿨을 쏠아 버리니, 그 식물이 시들고 말았다.
해가 뜨자, 하나님이 찌는 듯이 뜨거운 동풍을 마련하셨다. 햇볕이 요나의 머리 위로 내리쬐니, 그는 기력을 잃고 죽기를 자청하면서 말하였다. "이렇게 사느니 차라리 죽는 것이 더 낫겠습니다."
하나님이 요나에게 말씀하셨다. "박 넝쿨이 죽었다고 네가 이렇게 화를 내는 것이 옳으냐?" 요나가 대답하였다. "옳다뿐이겠습니까? 저는 화가 나서 죽겠습니다."Then the LORD God provided a vine and made it grow up over Jonah to give shade for his head to ease his discomfort, and Jonah was very happy about the vine.
But at dawn the next day God provided a worm, which chewed the vine so that it withered.
When the sun rose, God provided a scorching east wind, and the sun blazed on Jonah's head so that he grew faint. He wanted to die, and said, "It would be better for me to die than to live."
But God said to Jonah, "Do you have a right to be angry about the vine?" "I do," he said. "I am angry enough to die."
