Genesis 2:1-7

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created. When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens- and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground,but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground- the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Genesis 1:28-31

God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground." Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground--everything that has the breath of life in it--I give every green plant for food." And it was so.God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the sixth day.

Genesis 1:20-27

And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth." And there was evening, and there was morning--the fifth day. And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so. God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Genesis 1:9-19

And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good. Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the third day. And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. God made two great lights--the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the fourth day.

Genesis 1:1-7

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning--the first day. And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so.

Hebrews 3:12-14

형제자매 여러분, 여러분 가운데에 믿지 않는 악한 마음을 품고서, 살아 계신 하나님을 떠나는 사람이 아무도 없도록, 여러분은 조심하십시오. '오늘'이라고 하는 그날그날, 서로 권면하여, 아무도 죄의 유혹에 빠져 완고하게 되지 않도록 하십시오. 우리가 처음 믿을 때에 가졌던 확신을 끝까지 가지고 있으면, 우리는 그리스도께서 주시는 구원을 함께 누리는 사람이 될 것입니다. See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.

Hebrews 3:7-11

That is why I was angry with that generation, and I said, 'Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.' So I declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest.' "

Hebrews 3:1-6

그러므로 하늘의 부르심을 함께 받은 거룩한 형제자매 여러분, 우리가 고백하는 신앙의 사도요, 대제사장이신 예수를 깊이 생각하십시오. 이 예수는 모세가 하나님의 온 집안에 성실했던 것과 같이, 자기를 세우신 분께 성실하셨습니다. 집을 지은 사람이 집보다 더 존귀한 것과 같이, 예수는 모세보다 더 큰 영광을 누리기에 합당한 분이십니다. 어떠한 집이든지 어떤 사람이 짓습니다. 그러나 모든 것을 지으신 분은 하나님이십니다. 모세는, 하나님께서 장차 말씀하시려는 것을 증언하기 위한 일꾼으로서, 하나님의 온 집안 사람에게 성실하였습니다. 그러나 그리스도는 아들로서, 하나님의 집안 사람을 성실하게 돌보셨습니다. 우리가 그 소망에 대하여 확신과 자부심을 지니고 있으면, 우리는 하나님의 집안 사람입니다.Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess. He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God's house. Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. Moses was faithful as a servant in all God's house, testifying to what would be said in the future.But Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast.

Hebrews 2:14-18

For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham's descendants. For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement forthe sins of the people. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

Hebrews 2:9-13

In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers. He says, "I will declare your name to my brothers; in the presence of the congregation I will sing your praises." And again, "I will put my trust in him." And again he says, "Here am I, and the children God has given me."

Hebrews 2:5-8

You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor and put everything under his feet?In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him.

Hebrews 2:1-4

그러므로 우리는 들은 바를 더욱 굳게 간직하여, 잘못된 길로 빠져드는 일이 없어야 마땅하겠습니다. 천사들을 통하여 하신 말씀이 효력을 내어, 모든 범행과 불순종하는 행위가 공정한 갚음을 받았거든, 하물며 우리가 이렇게도 귀중한 구원을 소홀히 하고서야, 어떻게 그 갚음을 피할 수 있겠습니까? 이 구원은 주님께서 처음에 말씀하신 것이요, 그것을 들은 사람들이 우리에게 확증하여 준 것입니다. 그리고 하나님께서도 표징과 기이한 일과 여러 가지 기적을 보이시고, 또 자기의 뜻을 따라, 성령의 선물을 나누어주심으로써, 그들과 함께 증언하여 주셨습니다. We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

Hebrews 1:10-14

또 이렇게 말하였습니다. "주님, 주님께서는 태초에 땅의 기초를 놓으셨습니다. 하늘은 주님의 손으로 지으신 것입니다. 그것들은 없어질지라도, 주님께서는 영원히 존재하십니다. 그것들은 다 옷처럼 낡을 것이요, 주님께서는 그것들을 두루마기처럼 말아 치우실 것이며, 그것들이 다 옷처럼 변하고 말 것입니다. 그러나 주님께서는 언제나 같으시고, 주님의 세월은 끝남이 없을 것입니다." 그런데 하나님께서 천사 가운데서 누구에게 "내가 네 원수들을 네 발 아래에 굴복시킬 때까지, 너는 내 오른쪽에 앉아 있어라" 하고 말씀하신 적이 있습니까? 천사들은 모두 구원의 상속자가 될 사람들을 섬기도록 보내심을 받은 영들이 아닙니까? He also says, "In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end." To which of the angels did God ever say, "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet"? Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Hebrews 1:5-9

For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father"? Or again, "I will be his Father, and he will be my Son"? And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him." In speaking of the angels he says, "He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire." But about the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy."

Hebrews 1:1-4

하나님께서 옛날에는 예언자들을 통하여, 여러 번에 걸쳐 여러 가지 방법으로 우리 조상들에게 말씀하셨으나, 이 마지막 날에는 아들을 통하여 우리에게 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님께서는 이 아들을 만물의 상속자로 세우셨습니다. 그를 통하여 온 세상을 지으신 것입니다. 그는 하나님의 영광의 광채시요, 하나님의 본체대로의 모습이십니다. 그는 자기의 능력 있는 말씀으로 만물을 보존하시는 분이십니다. 그는 죄를 깨끗하게 하시고서 높은 곳에 계신 존엄하신 분의 오른쪽에 앉으셨습니다. 그는 천사들보다 훨씬 더 높게 되셨으니, 천사들보다 더 빼어난 이름을 물려받으신 것입니다. In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

Philemon 1:22-25

And so do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas and Luke, my fellow workers. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

Philemon 1:17-21

So if you consider me a partner, welcome him as you would welcome me. If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me. I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand. I will pay it back--not to mention that you owe me your very self. I do wish, brother, that I may have some benefit from you in the Lord; refresh my heart in Christ. Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I ask.

Philemon 1:12-16

나는 그를 그대에게 돌려보냅니다. 그는 바로 내 마음입니다. 나는 그를 내 곁에 두고 내가 복음을 위하여 갇혀 있는 동안에 그대를 대신해서 나에게 시중들게 하고 싶었으나, 그대의 승낙이 없이는 아무것도 하고 싶지 않았습니다. 나는 그대가 선한 일을 마지못해서 하지 않고, 자진해서 하기를 원하기 때문입니다. 그가 잠시 동안 그대를 떠난 것은, 아마 그대로 하여금 영원히 그를 데리고 있게 하려는 것이었는지도 모릅니다. 이제부터는 그는 종으로서가 아니라, 종 이상으로 곧 사랑 받는 형제로 그대의 곁에 있을 것입니다. 특히 그가 나에게 그러하다면, 그대에게는 육신으로나 주님 안에서나 더욱 그러하지 않겠습니까? I am sending him--who is my very heart--back to you. I would have liked to keep him with me so that he could take your place in helping me while I am in chains for the gospel. But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that any favor you do will be spontaneous and not forced. Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back for good-- no longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a dear brother. He is very dear to me but even dearer to you, both as a man and as a brother in the Lord.

Philemon 1:8-11

Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me.

Philemon 1:1-7

I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints. I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.

Titus 3:12-15

Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives. Everyone with me sends you greetings. Titus 3:6-11

This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him.You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.
