Numbers 11: Here we can see how people complain and whine about lack of meat despite God giving them manna until now. But the generous God listens to their complaints and has compassion on them. " But while people ended up indulging in their meats, God's fiery anger came upon them eventually. "But while they were still chewing the quail and had hardly swallowed the first bites, God’s anger blazed out against the people. He hit them with a terrible plague."
