Deuteronomy 18 (성경통독):This chapter goes on and talks about how the Levitical priests will have the privilege to get the Fire-Gift-Offerings of God—they will live on that inheritance. It also warns the people not to practice divination, sorcery, fortunetelling, witchery, casting spells, holding séances, or channeling with the dead when they enter the land that God is giving them. Finally, there is one more promise from God: God is going to raise up a prophet for them . God will raise him up from among their kinsmen, to whom they should listen obediently.
