Judges 9 (성경통독): This chapter discusses the rise and fall of Abimelech. He seems to have done his way throughout, killing people throughout in order to reach his personal goals, namely to violently misuse his title as the king of Israel. However, eventually God avenged the evil Abimelech had done to his father, murdering his seventy brothers. And God brought down on the heads of the men of Shechem all the evil that they had done, the curse of Jotham son of Jerub-Baal.
