Ezra 4 (성경통독): Old enemies of Judah and Benjamin heard that the exiles were building The Temple of the God of Israel. They came to Zerubbabel and the family heads and offered help to build the temple. However, Zerubbabel, Jeshua, and the rest of the family heads of Israel declined their offer. So as an act of revolt, Rehum the commanding officer and Shimshai the secretary wrote a controversial letter against Jerusalem to Artaxerxes the king. The king agreed to their accusations and commanded to stop the work on The Temple of God in Jerusalem.
