Esther 4 (성경통독): So we can see how Mordecai and Esther try to work to get together to bring deliverance to the Jews living in Susa. Esther gave the following instructions to Mordecai: “Go and get all the Jews living in Susa together. Fast for me. Don’t eat or drink for three days, either day or night. I and my maids will fast with you. If you will do this, I’ll go to the king, even though it’s forbidden. If I die, I die.” So we can see how persistent and daring Mordecai is in order to bring deliverance to the Jews in Susa. And Esther is a key figure as she is the queen who can intercede with the king to talk him out of the way plan to let Haman kill all the Jews.
