Job 19 (성경통독): Job feels that his friends are too harsh on him and he does not think that he deserves all the bad treatment. He asks his friends to have pity on them rather than just smashing down on him. Yet he accepts the fact that God is in control over his life. Despite all his losses (wealth, reputation, relationships), he acknowledges God saying, "Still, I know that God lives—the One who gives me back my life— and eventually he’ll take his stand on earth. And I’ll see him—even though I get skinned alive!— see God myself, with my very own eyes. Oh, how I long for that day!
