Isaiah 39:1-8 (성경통독): In this chapter, King Merodach-baladan son of Baladan of Babylon sent messengers with greetings and a gift to Hezekiah. He had heard that Hezekiah had been sick and was now well. Hezekiah mistakenly showed him all treasures and goods which would eventually all hauled over to Babylon during the captivity period. Selfishly, Hezekiah thought it was okay as long as this did not happen in his lifetime.
