Lamentations 3:1-18 (성경통독): Here, the author laments that he is the man who has seen affliction by the rod of the Lord’s wrath. He feels that the Lord has besieged him and surrounded him with bitterness and hardship. He feels that he has been deprived of peace; He has forgotten what prosperity is. So he says, “My splendor is gone and all that I had hoped from the Lord.”
