Luke 3:11-20 (성경통독): Here, we learn how different groups of people come to John to find out what they should to repent for forgiveness and he advises them to act with honesty, integrity and love to individuals.John also prepares them for the Lord by informing them that “ I baptize you with[b] water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with[c] the Holy Spirit and fire.” Later when John rebuked Herod the tetrarch because of his marriage to Herodias, his brother’s wife, and all the other evil things he had done, 20 Herod added this to them all: He locked John up in prison.
