Luke 8:9-15 (성경통독): Here, Jesus tells His disciples that the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to them, but to others He would speak in parables, so that so that,

“‘though seeing, they may not see;
though hearing, they may not understand.’[a]
Further, Jesus helps them to understand the meaning of the parable of the sower by explaining them that the seed is the word of God. There are four groups of listeners to the word: 1. Those along the path, 2. Those on the rocky ground, 3. Those that fell among thorns and 4. those with a noble and good heart. The seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
