3 John 1:9-14 (성경통독):Here, elder John continues to address to his dear friend Gaius, whom he loves in the truth. He first mentions Diotrephes who has been a negative influence by spreading malicious nonsense about the congregation. Not satisfied with that, he even refuses to welcome other believers. On the other hand, Demetrius is well spoken of by everyone—and even by the truth itself. Further, John has so much else to talk about but he does not want to do so with pen and ink.His key message seems as follows: “ Do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.”
