Judges 7:1-12 (성경통독): Here is a description how God helps Gideon to victory against the Midianites. As there were too many Israelites and God did not want them to boast against them, God told Gideon that some of them would have to be let go home. Later on to scope out the enemy, Gideon and Purah his servant went down to the outposts of the camp where the Midianites, the Amalekites and all the other eastern peoples had settled in the valley, thick as locusts.
