1 Corinthians 11:13-22 (성경통독): Here, Paul asks the Corinthians to judge for themselves if it is proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered. Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, 15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering. In the following directives Paul has no praise for them, for their meetings do more harm than good. There have been differences among them to show which of then has God’s approval. So then, when they come together, it is not the Lord’s Supper they eat, 21 for when they are eating, some of them go ahead with their own private suppers. As a result, one person remains hungry and another gets drunk, since they despise the church of God by humiliating those who have nothing.
