1 Timothy 5:9-10
과부로 명부에 올릴 이는, 예순 살이 덜 되어서는 안되고, 한 남편의 아내였던 사람이라야 합니다. 그는 착한 행실을 인정받는 사람이라야 하는데, 자녀를 잘 기르거나, 나그네를 잘 대접하거나, 성도들을 자기 집에 모시거나, 어려움을 당한 사람을 도와주거나, 모든 선한 일에 몸을 바친 사람이라야 합니다.
Not sure why there is a distinction between younger and older widows in this excerpt. But whoever it is we are dealing with, God wants us to serve the people with love and care, as if we were washing each other's feet.
