2 Timothy 4:3-5
때가 이르면, 사람들이 건전한 교훈을 받으려 하지 않고, 귀를 즐겁게 하는 말을 들으려고 자기네 욕심에 맞추어 스승을 모아들일 것입니다. 그들은 진리를 듣지 않고, 꾸민 이야기에 귀를 기울일 것입니다. 그러나 그대는 모든 일에 정신을 차려서 고난을 참으며, 전도자의 일을 하며, 그대의 직무를 완수하십시오.
We are currently on a spiritual journey which will eventually come to an end, once we have been reunited with Christ. Until then, there will be hardships, distress, countless temptations to let go of our relationship to Christ. 끝까지 전도자의 일을 하며 그 직무를 완성한다는 것은 말로는 쉽지만 실천하기에는 참으로 어려운 일인것 같습니다. 하지만 주님의 도우심으로 해낼수 있다고 생각합니다.
