Zechariah 10:7-12

에브라임 사람들은 용사같이 되며, 그들의 마음은 포도주를 마신 듯이 기쁠 것이다. 그들의 아들딸들도 구원을 보고 기뻐할 것이며, 나 주가 한 일을 본 그들의 마음이 즐거울 것이다. 내가 휘파람을 불어서 그들을 모으겠다. 내가 이미 그들을 구원하였으니, 그들이 옛날처럼 다시 번성할 것이다. 내가 그들을, 씨를 뿌리듯이, 여러 백성들 가운데 흩어 버려도, 그들은 멀리서도 나를 기억할 것이며, 아들딸과 함께 살아 있다가 돌아오게 될 것이다. 내가 그들을 이집트 땅에서 돌아오게 하고, 앗시리아에서도 돌아오게 하겠다. 내가 그들을 길르앗 땅과 레바논으로 데려올 것이니, 그 땅이 살기에 비좁을 것이다.그들이 고난의 바다를 지나올 때에 나 주가 바다 물결의 기세를 꺾을 것이니, 나일 강이 그 바닥까지 다 마를 것이다. 앗시리아의 교만이 꺾일 것이며, 이집트의 왕권도 사라질 것이다. 내 백성이 나 주를 힘입어서 강해지도록 하겠다. 그들이 내 이름을 앞세우고, 늠름하게 나아갈 것이다. 나 주의 말이다."The Ephraimites will become like mighty men, and their hearts will be glad as with wine. Their children will see it and be joyful; their hearts will rejoice in the LORD. I will signal for them and gather them in. Surely I will redeem them; they will be as numerous as before. Though I scatter them among the peoples, yet in distant lands they will remember me. They and their children will survive, and they will return. I will bring them back from Egypt and gather them from Assyria. I will bring them to Gilead and Lebanon, and there will not be room enough for them.They will pass through the sea of trouble; the surging sea will be subdued and all the depths of the Nile will dry up. Assyria's pride will be brought down and Egypt's scepter will pass away. I will strengthen them in the LORD and in his name they will walk," declares the LORD.
