1 Peter 5:1-4

나는 여러분 가운데 장로로 있는 이들에게, 같은 장로로서, 또한 그리스도의 고난의 증인이요 앞으로 나타날 영광을 함께 누릴 사람으로서 권면합니다. 여러분 가운데 있는 하나님의 양 떼를 먹이십시오. 억지로 할 것이 아니라, 하나님의 뜻을 따라 자진하여 하고, 더러운 이익을 탐하여 할 것이 아니라, 기쁜 마음으로 하십시오. 여러분은 여러분이 맡은 사람들을 지배하려고 하지 말고, 양 떼의 모범이 되십시오. 그러면 목자장이 나타나실 때에 변하지 않는 영광의 면류관을 얻을 것입니다.To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder, a witness of Christ's sufferings and one who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers--not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
