Revelation 7:13-17

그 때에 장로들 가운데 하나가 "흰 두루마기를 입은 이 사람들은 누구이며, 또 어디에서 왔습니까?" 하고 나에게 물었습니다. 내가 "장로님, 장로님께서 잘 알고 계십니다" 하고 대답하였더니, 그는 나에게 이렇게 말하였습니다. "이 사람들은 큰 환난을 겪어 낸 사람들입니다. 그들은 어린 양이 흘리신 피에 자기들의 두루마기를 빨아서 희게 하였습니다. 그러므로 그들은 하나님의 보좌 앞에 있고, 하나님의 성전에서 밤낮 그분을 섬기고 있습니다. 그리고 그 보좌에 앉으신 분이 그들을 덮는 장막이 되어 주실 것입니다.그들은 다시는 주리지 않고, 목마르지도 않고, 해나 그 밖에 어떤 열도 그들 위에 괴롭게 내려 쬐지 않을 것입니다. 보좌 한가운데 계신 어린 양이 그들의 목자가 되셔서, 생명의 샘물로 그들을 인도하실 것이고, 하나님께서 그들의 눈에서 눈물을 말끔히 씻어 주실 것입니다."Then one of the elders asked me, "These in white robes--who are they, and where did they come from?" I answered, "Sir, you know." And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
