Galatians 3:1-6

3 You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. 2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? 3 Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?[a] 4 Have you experienced[b] so much in vain—if it really was in vain? 5 So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? 6 So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” 1어리석은 갈라디아 사람들이여, 예수 그리스도께서 십자가에 못박히신 모습이 여러분의 눈 앞에 선한데, 누가 여러분을 홀렸습니까?

There seems to be a disconnect between hearing and applying as apparent throughout all of our Christian lives. God gives us His Spirit and works miracles among us as we believe what we heard. But the hearing does not stop here...we have to try to apply what we heard to our lives. If Jesus Christ is clearly portrayed as crucified in our lives, then this vivid remembrance and live scene should echo in our daily lives so that we will connect what we hear to apply in our lives. Amen!
