Joshua 7 (성경통독): Achan confessed his sins. He mentioned that inthe plunder he spotted a beautiful Shinar robe, two hundred shekels of silver, and a fifty-shekel bar of gold, and he coveted and took them.Consequently, God did not lead Israel to victory at the battle of Ai. As a result, the heart of the people sank, all spirit knocked out of them. Further, to soothe the hot angry and fury of God, all Israel stoned him—burned him with fire and stoned him with stones. We can count ourselves as fortunate now that we have Christ Jesus to rely on who shields us from anger of God.
