1 Samuel 22 (성경통독): It's quite outrageous how Saul thinks of David as an outlaw who was his "own son-in-law and captain of his bodyguard. None more honorable either." It's even further absurd how Saul lost his senses when ordered Doeg the Edomite to slaughter the priests of God, " the eighty-five men who wore the sacred robes. He then carried the massacre into Nob, the city of priests, killing man and woman, child and baby, ox, donkey, and sheep—the works." David though acknowledges that it was his own fault and blames himself for the death of everyone in Abiathar's (son of Ahimelech) family and assures to Abiathar that he would protect him. (Doeg the Edomite who was chief of Saul’s shepherds, was witness when David went to Nob to Ahimelech the Priest. There, he saw them together pray for God’s guidance, gave him food, and armed him with the sword of Goliath the Philistine.)”
