1 Kings 22 (성경통독): In this chapter, we learn about how Ahab the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah attacked Aram to claim Ramoth Gilead. God had filled the mouths of their puppet prophets with seductive lies. Except there was Micaiah who prophesied a dooming outcome for the Israel and Judah if they would go to war. But they did not follow Micaiah's advice. Rather, the troops went to war against Aram where king Ahab died in the battle. Following, Ahaziah son of Ahab became king over Israel in Samaria in the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah. As far as God was concerned, he lived an evil life, reproducing the bad life of his father and mother, repeating the pattern set down by Jeroboam son of Nebat, who led Israel into a life of sin. Worshiping at the Baal shrines, he made God, the God of Israel, angry, oh, so angry. If anything, he was worse than his father.
