Esther 2 (성경통독): In this chapter, we learn about how the king appointed officials in every province of his kingdom to bring every beautiful young virgin to the palace complex of Susa and to the harem run by Hegai. Esther was one of the young virgins and she was being very liked by the king. We also learn how Mordecai (who adopted Esther as his daughter) helped Esther by to uncover a plot to kill the king, who then told King Xerxes, giving credit to Mordecai.
