Isaiah 9:8-21 (성경통독): Here, Isaiah points to Ephraim and the citizens of Samaria who were a proud and arrogant bunch thad seemed to believe they can handle anything that comes. In response, God answered Fire with Fire - So God incited their adversaries against them.But the people paid no mind to him who hit them, didn’t seek God-of-the-Angel-Armies. And they kept repeating their sinful acts toward God so that in turn, God was still angry, his fist still raised, ready to hit them again.
