Luke 9:18-27 (성경통독): Here we see two scenes - Peter declares that Jesus is the Messiah and Jesus predicts His death. While the crowds say that Jesus is John the Baptist, Elijah or some other prophets of long ago who has come back to life, Peter answered that Jesus is God’s Messiah. And Jesus said, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.” Jesus then also told His disciples: “ Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
