그러므로 우리는 그리스도교의 초보적 교리를 제쳐놓고서, 성숙한 경지로 나아갑시다. 죽은 행실에서 벗어나는 회개와 하나님에 대한 믿음과 세례에 관한 가르침과 안수와 죽은 사람의 부활과 영원한 심판과 관련해서, 또 다시 기초를 놓는 일이 없어야 하겠습니다. 하나님께서 허락하시면, 우리는 그렇게 할 수 있을 것입니다; Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permitting, we will do so.

오늘 본문을 보면서 내 자신은 현재 신앙 여정에 어디쯤 왔을까 생각 해 보게 됩니다.
저도 여전히 기초를 놓고 있는 단계에 있는 것 같습니다. 제가 기도하옵기는 그리스도교의
초보적인 교리를 벗어나서 성숙한 주님의 자녀로 잘아가는 것입니다.
