레바논아, 네 문을 열어라. 불이 네 백향목을 사를 것이다.
잣나무야, 통곡하여라. 백향목이 넘어지고, 큰 나무들이 찍힌다. 바산의 상수리나무들아, 통곡하여라. 무성한 삼림이 쓰러진다. 목자들이 통곡하는 소리를 들어라. 목자들이 자랑하는 푸른 풀밭이 거칠어졌다. 어린 사자들이 울부짖는 소리를 들어라. 요단 강이 자랑하는 밀림이 거칠어졌다.Open your doors, O Lebanon, so that fire may devour your cedars! Wail, O pine tree, for the cedar has fallen; the stately trees are ruined! Wail, oaks of Bashan; the dense forest has been cut down!
Listen to the wail of the shepherds; their rich pastures are destroyed! Listen to the roar of the lions; the lush thicket of the Jordan is ruined!

Seems to be a warning signal toward Lebanon and Jordan. As much as there are lands and countries that do not seek forgiveness of the Lord, each one of us patient needs the healing and forgiveness of the Lord every day. We should not seek Him because we are scared otherwise. But we should seek Him out of reverence and adoration for Him.
