제사장의 입술은 지식을 지켜야 하겠고, 사람들이 그의 입에서 율법을 구하게 되어야 할 것이다. 제사장이야말로 만군의 주 나의 특사이기 때문이다. 그러나 너희는 바른 길에서 떠났고, 많은 사람들에게 율법을 버리고 곁길로 가도록 가르쳤다. 너희는 내가 레위와 맺은 언약을 어겼다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다.
그러므로 나도, 너희가 모든 백성 앞에서, 멸시와 천대를 받게 하였다. 너희가 나의 뜻을 따르지 않고, 율법을 편파적으로 적용한 탓이다.""For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, and from his mouth men should seek instruction--because he is the messenger of the LORD Almighty. But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble; you have violated the covenant with Levi," says the LORD Almighty.
"So I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality in matters of the law."

....율법을 편파적으로 적용한 탓이다... 내가 마음에 내키는 부분과 적용하고 싶은 말씀만 실천하고자 하는 모습을 떠올려 봅니다. Whole-heartedly가 아닌 semi-heartedly 된 마음으로 주님을 섬기겠다는 저의 뻔뻔스러운 모습을 생각 해 봅니다 그리고 회개합니다.
