2 Peter 2:11-16

천사들은 그들보다 더 큰 힘과 능력을 가지고 있으면서도, 주님 앞에서 그들을 비방하는 고발을 하지 아니합니다. 그러나 그들은 본래 잡혀서 죽을 목적으로 태어난 지각없는 짐승들과 같아서, 알지도 못하는 일들을 비방합니다. 그러다가 그들은 짐승들이 멸망하는 것 같이 멸망을 당할 것입니다. 그들은 자기들이 저지른 불의의 값으로 해를 당합니다. 그들은 대낮에 흥청대면서 먹고 마시는 것을 낙으로 생각합니다. 그들은 티와 흠 투성이 인간들입니다. 그들은 여러분과 연회를 즐길 때에도, 자기들의 속임수를 꾀하고 있습니다. 그들의 눈에는 간음할 상대자들밖에 보이지 않습니다. 그들은 죄를 짓기를 그치지 않습니다. 그들은 들뜬 영혼들을 유혹하며, 그들의 마음은 탐욕을 채우는 데에 익숙합니다. 그들은 저주받은 자식들입니다. 그들은 바른 길을 버리고, 그릇된 길로 갔습니다. 불의의 삯을 사랑한 불의의 아들 발람의 길을 따라간 것입니다.그러나 발람은 자기의 범죄에 대하여 책망을 들었습니다. 말 못하는 나귀가 사람의 소리로 말하여 이 예언자의 미친 행동을 막은 것입니다.yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord. But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish. They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you. With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed--an accursed brood! They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Beor, who loved the wages of wickedness.But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey--a beast without speech--who spoke with a man's voice and restrained the prophet's madness.
