2 Timothy 3:10-17

그러나 그대는 나의 가르침과 행동과 의향과 믿음과 오래 참음과 사랑과 인내를 따르며, 안디옥과 이고니온과 루스드라에서 내가 겪은 박해와 고난을 함께 겪었습니다. 나는 그러한 박해를 견디어냈고, 주님께서는 그 모든 박해에서 나를 건져내셨습니다. 그리스도 예수 안에서 경건하게 살려고 하는 사람은 모두 박해를 받을 것입니다. 그런데, 악한 자들과 속이는 자들은 더욱더 악하여져서, 남을 속이기도 하고 속기도 할 것입니다. 그러나 그대는 그대가 배워서 굳게 믿는 그 진리 안에 머무십시오. 그대는 그것을 누구에게서 배웠는지를 알고 있습니다. 그대는 어려서부터 성경을 알고 있습니다. 성경은 그리스도 예수를 믿는 믿음으로 말미암아 그대에게 구원에 이르는 지혜를 줄 수 있습니다. 모든 성경은 하나님의 영감으로 된 것으로서 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익합니다. 성경은 하나님의 사람을 유능하게 하고, 그에게 온갖 선한 일을 할 수 있게 하는 것입니다. You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecutions, sufferings--what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
