Revelation 10:1-7

또 나는 힘센 다른 천사 하나가 구름에 싸여서 하늘에서 내려오는 것을 보았습니다. 그의 머리 위에는 무지개가 둘려 있고, 그 얼굴은 해와 같고, 발은 불기둥과 같았습니다. 그는 손에 작은 두루마리 하나를 펴서, 들고 있었습니다. 그는 오른발로는 바다를 디디고, 왼발로는 땅을 디디고 서서, 마치 사자가 울부짖듯이 큰 소리로 부르짖었습니다. 그가 부르짖으니, 일곱 천둥이 각각 제 소리를 내면서 말하였습니다. 그 일곱 천둥이 말을 다 하였을 때에, 나는 그것을 기록하려고 하였습니다. 그 때에 나는 하늘로부터 나오는 음성을 들었는데, "그 일곱 천둥이 말한 것을 인봉하여라. 그것을 기록하지 말아라" 하였습니다. 그리고 내가 본 그 천사, 곧 바다와 땅을 디디고 서 있는 그 천사가 오른손을 하늘로 쳐들고,하늘과 그 안에 있는 것들과 땅과 그 안에 있는 것들과 바다와 그 안에 있는 것들을 창조하시고, 영원무궁 하도록 살아 계시는 분을 두고, 이렇게 맹세하였습니다. "때가 얼마 남지 않았다. 일곱째 천사가 불려고 하는 나팔 소리가 나는 날에는, 하나님께서 하나님의 종 예언자들에게 전하여 주신 대로, 하나님의 비밀이 이루어질 것이다."Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars. He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke. And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down." Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven.And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, "There will be no more delay! But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets."
