1 Timothy 4:11-16

그대는 이것들을 명령하고 가르치십시오. 아무도, 그대가 젊다고 해서, 그대를 업신여기지 못하게 하십시오. 도리어 그대는, 말과 행실과 사랑과 믿음과 순결에 있어서, 믿는 이들의 본이 되십시오. 내가 갈 때까지, 성경을 읽는 일과 권면하는 일과 가르치는 일에 전념하십시오. 그대 속에 있는 은사, 곧 그대가 장로들의 안수를 받을 때에 예언을 통하여 그대에게 주신 그 은사를 소홀히 여기지 마십시오. 이 일들을 명심하고 힘써 행하십시오. 그리하여 그대가 발전하는 모습을 모든 사람에게 나타나게 하십시오.그대 자신과 그대의 가르침을 살피십시오. 이런 일을 계속하십시오. 이렇게 함으로써, 그대 자신도 구원하고, 그대의 말을 듣는 사람들도 구원할 것입니다.Command and teach these things. Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
