1 John 2:5-8

그러나 누구든지 하나님의 말씀을 지키면, 그 사람 속에서는 하나님께 대한 사랑이 참으로 완성됩니다. 이것으로 우리가 하나님 안에 있음을 압니다.하나님 안에 있다고 하는 사람은 자기도 그리스도께서 사신 것과 같이 마땅히 그렇게 살아가야 합니다. 사랑하는 여러분, 내가 여러분에게 써 보내는 것은, 새 계명이 아니라, 여러분이 처음부터 가진 옛 계명입니다. 그 옛 계명은 여러분이 들은 그 말씀입니다. 나는 다시 여러분에게 새 계명을 써 보냅니다. 이 새 계명은 하나님께도 참되고 여러분에게도 참됩니다. 어둠이 지나가고, 참 빛이 벌써 비치고 있기 때문입니다.But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him:Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.
