2 Timothy 3:1-5

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-- having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

This describes the complete opposite of how the Lord’s servant must present himself- The Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. If we really cherish godliness and grow in its power, we should stay away from the love of this world. If we truly seek the godliness of Christ in our daily lives, Christ's mercy will transform us to become a faithful and useful servant in His eyes. Amen~!
