1 John 4:7-12
You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth?
That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.
"A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough."
I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty, whoever he may be.Brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.
As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

십자가의 거리낌은 없어졌을 것입니다... I pray that the weight of the cross will grow on me not as a burden but as a reminder that I have to continue to run the race and to obey the truth. The only way to succeed in the race is to rely on His grace and righteousness and not on our acts (circumcision) or efforts. The result of seeking grace can be e.g. "suffer persecution" or any scheme devised by the devil in order to divert us from obeying the truth. However, we should press on and remain on the path that pleases our Lord. Amen!
