John 2:
He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him..... (vs.11).
After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. (vs.22). I wonder what the difference of their faith was 3 years before/after ministry of Christ. In vs. 11, it seems to indicate that the disciples acknowledged Jesus as a teacher (rabbi) and half-heartedly as the Messiah. But it took them many years to finally accept Jesus as the true Lord and Savior by listening to His word and witnessing of miracles and wonders etc. So...as we can see discipleship in really a journey and we grow and mature as we walk this path. So we should hold on to it and live it to our fullest every day. Amen!

John 3:
신부를 차지하는 사람은 신랑이다. 신랑의 친구는 신랑이 오는 소리를 들으려고 서 있다가, 신랑의 음성을 들으면 크게 기뻐한다. 나는 이런 기쁨으로 가득 차 있다....
Firstly, it's remarkable how John distinguishes himself from the Messiah and humbly accepts his role that he is not the Christ but that he was sent ahead of Christ. John's testimony about Christ Jesus is straightforward - he claims that Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life. John truly has seen this life and could only have lived such a humble life because he understood that true "life" in eternity is far more worth than short-lived life on this earth. Amen!
