Chapter 7:"For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little." So I take it .... that we should have a confessing and penitent heart who continuously seeks His forgiveness and love. As we realize and see His love more in our lives, the more we will be drawn to Him by His mercy and grace.
Chapter 8:
"For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open." Jesus during the 3 years of His ministry showed a lot of miracles (e.g. healing, bread & fish, calming of the storm etc.) and more and more people sought Him to see more of these. But in many cases, Jesus instructed them to tell no one what had happened. Although Jesus died on the cross and though His ministry initially seemed to be a defeat, it has eventually turned to be a success as His word is still being preached to a sinner such as myself. In fact, there is truly nothing hidden that will not be disclosed and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open." Amen!
