Ruth 2: In this chapter, there is an encounter between Ruth and Boaz, one of Naomi’s circle of covenant redeemers, a close relative of hers. Boaz took really good care of her not abusing her in any way. Moreover, Boaz let her be stuck close to his young women, gleaning in the fields daily until both the barley and wheat harvesting were finished. And Ruth continued living with her mother-in-law.
