1 Samuel 21 (성경통독): In this chapter, after David parts from Jonathan, he does the following: 1. He goes went to Nob, to Ahimelech the Priest and takes along the sword which he used to slay Goliath from Saul’s men. To cover up his situation, David pretends to be on a mission with strict orde sent by the king. 2. Next, he went to Achish, king of Gath. When the servants of Achish saw him and recognized him, while they were looking at him, he pretended to go crazy, pounding his head on the city gate and foaming at the mouth, spit dripping from his beard... At this sight, Achish took one look at him and said to his servants, “Can’t you see he’s crazy? Why did you let him in here? Don’t you think I have enough crazy people to put up with as it is without adding another? Get him out of here!”... so we see that David is in flight to escape the wrath of Saul.
