1 Samuel 26 (성경통독): It’s crazy how Saul was on his feet in a minute and on his way to the wilderness of Ziph, taking three thousand of his best men, the pick of the crop, to hunt for David in that wild desert. It’s a match up between David & Abishai vs. Saul & Abner, son of Ner, his general. Somehow, David and Abishai were able to manage to sneak into the entered the encampment by night, and there he was—Saul, stretched out asleep at the center of the camp. But instead of taking the life of the anointed one (Saul) of God, David just takes the spear as evidence that he spared the king’s life one more time. Saul confessed his sins and agrees to stop pursuing David from that point on (again). Then David went on his way, and Saul went home. But Saul will change his mind again in the coming chapters.
